Homemade Disaronno Velvet Recipe | How to make Amaretto Cream Liqueur at Home!
If you want to learn how to make ???????????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????? or, as it is best known, Disaronno Velvet at home, you are at the right place. In this YouTube drink recipe video, I will share this iconic velvety cream liqueur recipe with you, which is one of my most requested drinks at my parties.
What is Disaronno Velvet? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? is a luxurious and smooth new offering produced by the world-famous Disaronno Amaretto makers. It is a sophisticated creamy liqueur with the distinctive taste of the most famous Italian liqueur in the world, Amaretto. This is the perfect drink for sophisticated palettes who love creamy drinks with an intense aroma and unexpected tones of almond and apricot.
However, if you are into creamy drinks, here is the recipe for a basic ???????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????.
However, as far as Disaronno Velvet, here is what you will need.
• 1 Can of Evaporated Milk
• 1 Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 1 Egg Yolk
• 2 oz. of Almond Extract
• 1 oz. of Apricot Extract
• 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
• 1.5 Cups of Vodka
Here are a couple of things to highlight. This is a strong recipe that I have tweaked over the years to suit the taste of many of those that come to my parties. If you find it too strong, consider the following.
• 1 Can of Evaporated Milk
• 1 Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 1 oz. of Almond Extract
• .5 oz. of Apricot Extract
• 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
• 1 Cup of Vodka
???????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????? ????????????????
*As with many of the other cream base drinks in the past, we'll be using egg yolk. Please know that this is 100% optional, especially if you are allergic. I use egg to give the drink its buttery viscosity. Without it, the drink is considerably more watery.
**If you are going to use the egg yolk, consider adding a little bit of evaporated milk to the mixing bowl and whisking it to incorporate the egg into the milk. This eliminates the risk of separation, something that may happen if you take too long o mix the ingredients. The following instructions are slightly different than the video for this reason.
==================================================
We are going to start our ???????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? Velvet recipe by depositing about ½ of a can of evaporated milk into a medium mixing bowl, along with one egg yolk. Wisk the two until well combined.
To this mixture, add the Almond Extract, Apricot Extract, and Vanilla Extract, and wisk it again until thoroughly combined. We can now add the can of Sweetened Condensed Milk and use the remaining evaporated milk to rinse the can. You could have done this initially, but it makes it easier with a more watery mixture.
With our cream base mixture thoroughly combined, use a funnel to transfer it to a one-liter bottle, and then top it off with the vodka. Please consider using a none Russian vodka. Trust me when I say it is not only overpriced but overrated. For this recipe, I used a brand I had never used before called Tito's Handmade Vodka, which is made in Texas, and it was crisp, clean, and very smooth. Without a doubt, I'll be using it again!
Before I let you go, I want to mention that if you use egg yolks in your homemade Disaronno Velvet, please let it rest in the fridge for at least a couple of hours. Otherwise, drop a couple of ice cubes in it once you are finished mixing and enjoy it!
TROLL NOTICE: As I mentioned in the video, I am not a bartender or pretending to be one on Youtube. However, I do like to entertain, and if you want to do it often, or as often as I do, you have to figure out ways to cut costs. All of these drink recipes were initially intended as cost-cutting measures, but over the years, they have become crow favorites. Today I find my guest asking for the homemade version more often than not. Please drink responsibly and feel free to share your homemade ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????????? at your Facebook group, Cuban Food Nation! With that said, I hope you enjoy it.

Directions
1. Chop the dried apricots and crush all the dry ingredients just a little. They only need to be crushed enough to release the flavor.
2. Combine the apricots and dry ingredients in a 1 quart jar, add 1 cup of vodka, 1 cup of brandy, then seal up and store for 21 days, shaking the jar at least twice per day.
3. Strain out the solids, then filter the liquid through coffee filters 1 to 3 times to clarify it.
4. While the extract is filtering, add ½ cup of water to ½ cup of coconut sugar and heat it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
5. Then lightly caramelize the white sugar over medium heat in a non-stick sauce pot, stirring occasionally. It will melt, then turn brown quickly. Lower the heat to brown it slowly and avoid burning the sugar.
6. Carefully add the coconut sugar simple syrup to the caramel and stir it until all lumps are completely dissolved. You may need to reheat it slightly to help it dissolve. Allow it to cool, then add the remaining 1/2 cup of vodka to this syrup.
7. After the amaretto extract liquid has passed through the coffee filter, add the vanilla, then add the caramel syrup mixture to taste. Once you are happy with the level of sweetness, bottle the amaretto. It will be best to let it rest for a week before using to allow the flavors to marry.
