Pineapple Pecan Cheeseball
When it comes to food, there’s not much we love more than cheese. Whether it’s a decked out cheese plate, a molten and cheesy pasta bake, or a cream cheese-based dessert, we just can’t get enough. Which brings us to this tasty, easy appetizer, which only requires a couple of minutes to throw together, then you can pop it in the fridge until you’re ready to serve it.
If you haven’t gathered already, this tasty recipe is for none other than a pineapple pecan cheese ball. That’s right, a big ball of cheese, rolled in nuts and full of flavor, that you can bring out on a platter that’ll have all your guests impressed and reaching for the cheese before you can set it down on the table! We love the juicy hint of sweetness that the pineapple lends to the cheese (without being overwhelming), and the green onions and green bell peppers keep it tasting light and refreshing. There’s nothing not to like about this recipe!

You’ll need the cream cheese softened before you start. Make sure to remove ingredients from the fridge for at least 20-30 minutes before making the appetizer.
In a bowl beat together softened cream cheese, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper until well combined.
Fold in green onion. If you like to add additional ingredients for more flavor and taste you can do it now. Some of the options are finely diced red bell peppers, a dash of hot sauce, or any other ingredients you want to use.
Cover the mix and refrigerate it for at least 15 minutes to 1 hour.
In a small bowl mix real bacon bits, chopped pecans, finely chopped parsley, and green onion.
Once the cheese mixture is cooled enough to handle, scoop out the mixture and roll it in the bacon-nuts mixture to coat evenly.
Insert a pretzel stick into each mini ball and serve.
Mini cheese balls can be served as an appetizer or as a dip for crackers, crostini, crudité, bagel chips, or pita chips.

Broccoli Cheese Balls - The Ultimate Appetizer
Broccoli cheese balls are made with a simple combination of broccoli, cheese, bread crumbs, shallots, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper. They outcome of these simple ingredients is out of this world. I often make them up for parties but have been know to make them up as a snack for myself. These tasty little treats are ready in about half an hour.
I use old, sharp cheddar cheese, but you can use the cheese of your choice. Panko bread crumbs are always my go to but Italian will do nicely too. When I made these, I didn't have shallots on hand, so I used red onions which sufficed just nicely.
Make them up and your family and friends will just love them. Give them a try and let us know what you think.
