QUICHE RECIPE
Ingredients
Short Pastry
1 Small Onion
6 Rashers Bacon
1 Teaspoon Oil
1 Cup Grated Cheese
¼ Cup Frozen Spinach
5 Eggs
1½ Cups | 375ml Cream or Milk
Salt + Pepper
Instructions
Roll out the pastry and place into a quiche pan.
Cut the onion and bacon into small pieces.
Heat a frypan over medium heat and add the oil. Cook the onion and bacon for 8-10 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the onion has caramelised.
Squeeze the excess water out of the spinach and set to the side.
In a medium sized bowl crack in the eggs and pour in the milk or cream. Season with salt and pepper and use a fork to combine the ingredients together.
Add the onion and bacon to the quiche crust along with the spinach and cheese.
Pour over the custard and place into a 180C | 350F oven for about 50 minutes or until the centre only slightly jiggles when moved.
Cool the quiche for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Cream is best used for this quiche, but half and half or milk can also be used.

Easy Classic Quiche Recipe (Step-by-Step) | HowToCook.Recipes
This super easy Quiche Recipe is so delicious and simple to make. Quiche is one of my favorites because its so versatile. It works just as well for breakfast as it does for dinner! Feel free to be creative and switch it up with your favorite cheeses, vegetables, or meats to make it perfect suit your taste!

Ingredients:
1 pie crust refrigerated
6 large eggs
3/4 cup half and half
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked ham chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
4 tbsp scallions
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F and place frozen pie dish into refrigerator to thaw.
2. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
3. Once the pie crust is thawed, pierce the bottom with a fork then sprinkle the ham, scallions, and 1 cup of the mozzarella and cheddar mix into the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese on top.
4. Bake for 25 minutes covered then cover with aluminum foil for the remaining 10 minutes if the crust starts to brown too much.
5. Once the center is completely set, let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

This is how to make a quick & easy bacon quiche
This easy quiche is a delicious weeknight meal or lunch option (RECIPE BELOW). Made with filo pastry, spinach and bacon this tasty combination is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

SPINACH & BACON FILO QUICHE
Serves 4 Prep 20 mins (+ 5 mins cooling time) Cooking 35 mins
2 rashers Don Middle Bacon, rind removed, finely chopped
8 sheets Pampas Filo Pastry, thawed
50g Coles Australian Butter, melted
6 extra-large Coles Australian Free Range Eggs, lightly whisked
½ cup (60g) Coles Australian Shredded Tasty Cheddar
½ cup (125ml) Coles Thickened Cream
250g pkt frozen Birds Eye Chopped Spinach, thawed, squeezed of excess liquid
1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook the bacon, stirring, for 5 mins or until crisp. Transfer bacon to a plate.
2. Grease a 20cm (base measurement) pie dish. Place the filo on a clean work surface. Brush 1 filo sheet with a little butter. Fold in half crossways. Place in the dish, allowing it to overhang. Repeat with remaining filo and butter, turning and overlapping each sheet slightly to line the dish completely.
3. Whisk the egg, cheddar and cream in a jug. Season. Arrange three-quarters of the bacon and spinach over the filo. Pour over the egg mixture. Top with remaining bacon and spinach. Bake for 30 mins or until golden brown and set. Set aside for 5 mins to cool slightly. Cut into wedges to serve.
