How To make Applesauce Nut Bread (Makes 1 Large Loaf)
-DOROTHY CROSS (TMPJ72B) -FORMAT BELLE BESTOR DFPF73A 1 c -sugar
1 c Applesauce
1/3 c -vegetable oil
1 ts -baking soda
1/2 ts -baking powder
1/2 ts -ground cinnamon
2 Eggs
3 ts -milk
2 c -sifted flour
1/4 ts -salt
1/4 ts -ground nutmeg
3/4 c Pecans; chopped
TOPPING:
1/4 c Brown sugar; packed
1/4 c Pecans; chopped
1/4 ts -ground cinnamon
I made this gem yesterday and just HAD to share the recipe with all of you. It's DELICIOUS and so right for the holidays that are just around the corner. (Can that be?) In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine sugar, applesauce, oil, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Add to applesauce mixture and beat until well combined. Stir in pecans. Turn batter into well greased loaf baking pan. For topping, combine brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cap loosely with foil after the first 30 minutes of baking. Remove from pan and cool on rack. 1 cup sugar
1 cup applesauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 egg whites
3 tablespoons milk
2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted before measuring
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation:
In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, applesauce, oil, egg whites, and milk; mix until well blended.
Into another bowl, sift flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. Stir into the first mixture until well blended; stir in chopped pecans or walnuts. Spread batter in a greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350° for 60 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

1/2 cup softened butter (110g) unsalted
2 tbsp oil (30ml)
1 tsp vanilla (5ml)
2 eggs (room temp)
1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour (190g)
1 tsp baking powder (5g)
1/2 tsp salt (3g)
1/2 cup milk (room temp)
1 cup of apples cut into small cubes + for toppings (any kind of apple thats available for you????)

The very best Banana Bread is so easy to make! This is my absolute favorite recipe for using up overripe bananas, it's soft, moist, and bursting with banana, brown sugar, and cinnamon flavors. Slathered with melted butter it's perfect alongside a hot cup of coffee for breakfast.
