Today I’m going to share with you how to make the best arroz con pollo verde (green chicken and rice )let me tell you this recipe is super easy to make and its just full of flavor, you can adjust the spice level by adding more chile serrano for me using one is just perfect, my kids love and enjoy it so much!!! . Try my original arroz con pollo ????????
Tip!!!! Make sure you use only 1 cup 1/2 of broth /salsa you can throw in the whole 1 cup of water or chicken broth to blender so you don’t get confused, this is important so that your rice absorb all the liquid and dont come out mushy????
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken I used drumsticks and thigh
1 cup white rice
1 cup water or chicken broth
3 tbsp oil
4 chile poblanos
1 Tomatillolo
3/4 cup corn
1/2 white onion
1 serrano
1 garlic clove
Handful of cilantro
Salt I used 1 1/2 tsp (keep in mind you also add seasonig/salt to the chicken, you can wait to add salt after adding the sauce) ????
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp chile flakes(optional)

Arroz con Pollo recipe:
3 chicken thighs and legs
1 cup of white long grain rice
½ onion chopped
½ bell pepper chopped
3 garlic cloves chopped
1 can of tomato sauce
1 tbsp Knorr’s Chicken bouillon
Water to measure two cups after adding tomato sauce in a measuring cup
Salt pepper and garlic to season chicken

How to Make ARROZ CON POLLO | My Abuela's Tex Mex Chicken & Rice Recipe

This is one traditional Mexican recipe you need to try yourself at home, and my Mom is back in the kitchen with me to share with you all our family recipes and her THREE TIPS to make this dish perfectly.
ARROZ CON POLLO
¾ cup Jasmine rice
2 cups chicken stock or water, (we use homemade stock)
1 tbs vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp whole cumin to crush
½ tsp coarse black pepper or peppercorns
1-2 tsp salt to taste
1 dash of oregano or to preference
¼ to ½ cup tomato sauce, preference
⅓ cup chopped or diced white onion
2 - 3 deboned chicken thighs cut into 1” pieces

6 pcs. Chicken drumsticks ( or 2-3 chicken breasts)
2 cups long grain rice
1 can 6 oz. tomato sauce
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Cumin
Salt.

As you can see, not much is needed to prepare this dish. You can feed
4-5 people with this recipe and still have some left over.
The flavor of the chicken stock is what makes it so delicious.
The more you make this dish the better you get at it. The trick is the
broth, if your rice seems that its hard, its ok to add more broth about
1/2 cup then cover and let it stand for another 5 minutes.
Serve with a side of refried beans and tortillas.

2-3 Tablespoons achiote oil
6 chicken thighs
2-3 strips thick cut bacon
2 cups sofrito
2 cups brown rice
1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
black pepper to your taste (1/2 teaspoon or so)
4 cups water
10 -12 olives
1 - 2 teaspoons capers
1/4 - 1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 Tablespoon Oregano
