How To make Bacon Wrapped and Cheddar Stuffed Dogs
4 frankfurters
8 slices thick-cut bacon
4 ounces cheddar cheese -- cut into 1/2-inch
-- pieces wooden toothpicks 4 hot dog rolls
Preheat the broiler. Pat the frankfurters dry. In a skillet cook the bacon for 3 minutes or until still pliable and not crisp. Transfer to paper towels to drain. Cut a 1/2-inch slit lengthwise from end to end of each frankfurter. Stuff each frankfurter with the cheese. Wrap the entire length of each frankfurter with 2 slices of the bacon and secure with toothpicks. Place the prepared frankfurters on a rack over a baking pan or on a broiler pan. Broil the frankfurters until the bacon is crispy, about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve frankfurters in rolls.

This cheddar-stuffed hot dog wrapped in bacon and topped with BBQ sauce is the ultimate summer treat!

Ingredients
8 Martin’s Long Potato Rolls
8 Hot Dogs
8 Slices Cheddar Cheese, cut in half
8 Slices Bacon
1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce of Choice
Directions
Step 1
Slice hot dogs lengthwise, and stuff with halved cheddar cheese slices.
Step 2
Wrap the uncooked bacon slices around each stuffed hot dog in a spiral pattern, securing with toothpicks.
Step 3
Grill the hot dogs until both the bacon and hot dog are heated through, and the cheese is melted.
Step 4
To assemble, remove the toothpicks, place each hot dog on a potato roll and top with BBQ sauce.

4 hot dogs

8 slices bacon
4 buns
1 green onion, sliced (optional)
1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
Ketchup, for serving
Mustard, for serving
DIRECTIONS
1. Slice hot dogs in half lengthwise. Place strips of cheddar inside the dogs and wrap with bacon.
2. Heat a large skillet on high heat and cook the hot dogs, turning frequently so that all sides become crispy.
3. Serve in a bun with toppings of your choice.
