3 Tbsp of flour (24g)
2 tsp of sugar (10g)
1 tsp of oil (5g)
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp of baking powder (1g)
1/4 tsp of cinnamon (1g)
1/2 ripe banana
1 to 2 Tbsp of chocolate chips, optional

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:
BEST Banana Bread

{makes 1 loaf}
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (189 grams)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter - softened (173 grams)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs - room temperature
1 1/2 - 3 cups ripe mashed bananas (about 3 - 6 small)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
NOTE: if using over 2 cups mashed, ripe bananas, you'll need to foil tent the bread and bake another 10 - 15 minutes. Can also reduce the heat of the oven to 325 degrees F. for the last 10 -15 minutes of baking, if needed.

Make Banana Bread with one banana! Easy banana bread recipe uses a single banana and a few pantry staples. Quick, easy to make and delicious.

✴️ Ingredients
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 banana , mashed (about 1/2 cup)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon butter , melted (plus more for greasing the ramekin)
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
✴️ Instructions
1) Heat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C).
2) In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together. Set aside.
3) Mash the banana with a fork in a separate small bowl. Add the sugar and whip the banana and sugar together.
4) Add the melted butter, the egg yolk, and the vanilla; mix well.
5) Mix in the dry ingredients just until incorporated.
6) Pour the batter into a lightly buttered 8-ounce ramekin or other baking dish of similar size.
7) Bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
8) Remove from the oven and cool slightly before eating.

Makes one 9-x-5-inch (2L) loaf
Ingredients
1 ½ -¾ cups (375-400 g) mashed ripe bananas (3-4 bananas)
6 Tbsp (90 g) unsalted butter, melted
½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
½ cup (100 g) packed light brown sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
1 ½ cups (225 g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp (5 g) baking soda
¼ tsp (.75 g) salt
1 cup (250 mL) chocolate chips or toasted walnut pieces (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 325 F (160 C) and grease a 9-x-5-inch (2L) loaf pan.
2. Whisk the banana, melted butter, granulated and brown sugar together until well-blended. Whisk in the egg and vanilla.
3. In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt. Add this to the banana mixture and stir just until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips or walnut pieces (if using). Scrape the batter into the prepared loaf tin and sprinkle the top with a little sugar. Bake for about 75 minutes, until a tester inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. Cool the cake for 20 minutes in the tin, then turn it out to cool completely on a cooling rack.
The banana bread will keep, well-wrapped for up to 3 days.
