How to Make a Frozen Banana Daiquiri | Summer Cocktail Recipes

Is the Banana Daiquiri better than a Strawberry Daiquiri? Let's find out!

This is summer cocktail number 4 of the Summer cocktail series, as we adventure with Creme de Bananes for the first time to use this banana liqueur. This is the banana variation of the famous Daiquiri.

Banana Daiquiri Recipe (Ingredients):
- 60ml (2oz) Gold Rum
- 30ml (1oz) Crème de Bananas
- 15ml (0.5oz) Lime juice
- Slices of Banana between 5-8
- 1 tablespoon of caster sugar
- 400ml of crushed ice not 200ml as I found out.
- Slice of banana for a garnish.


How to make (Method):
1. Add ingredients to the blender.
2. Blend for 30 seconds. Add more ice if necessary.
3. Strain into a Hurricane glass.
4. Garnish with a slice of Banana.

It is a refreshing cocktail with a tanginess mixed in with sweetness. The biggest tasting note is of course from the banana. This is the Frozen Banana Daiquiri. Give me your thoughts on it? What is your favourite variation of the Daiquiri?

Havana Club 3 años - FROZEN BANANA DAIQUIRI

It's a simple tropical twist on the popular Frozen Daiquiri. Adding fresh banana to our blender recipe is an easy extra step that will add a new flavour twist to this refreshing icy serve.

Ingredients for 1 drink :
1 Tablespoon White Sugar or 20 ml sugar syrup
25 mL Fresh Lime juice
0.5 Fresh Banana
5 ml Maraschino Liqueur
60 ml Havana Club Añejo 3 Años
1 Cup of Crushed Ice
1 Electric Blender

Banana Daiquiri

INGREDIENTS

1.75 oz/45 ml Light Rum
.25 oz/7ml over proof Rum
1 oz/30 ml Creme de Banana
.5 oz./ 15 ml Lime Juice
.5 Sliced Banana
4-6 oz/120-180 ml crushed Ice

METHOD

1. Crush Ice on Pulse mode in blender
2. Pour pour all ingredients into blender
3. Slice Banana leaving a slice with peel on for the garnish
4. add to blender
5. blend all ingredients until smoooooth!!
6. Garnish with Banana Slice

The average American consumes 27 pounds of bananas every year. If you're not getting your fair share, try this classic drink—you'll catch up in no time.

Step 1: Chill glass
Chill the cocktail glass by filling it with ice and water, and set it aside.

Step 2: Crush ice
Crush the ice in the blender.

Tip
If you’re making a big batch of daiquiris, add the other ingredients to the blender first, then add in ice until the pitcher is full.

Step 3: Peel banana & break up
Peel the banana and break it into small chunks.

Step 4: Put banana in blender
Place the small chunks of banana into the blender.

Step 5: Add rum, liqueur, lime juice, & syrup
Pour in the light rum, banana liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup.

Tip
Simple syrup is just sugar boiled in water--but honey will work equally well.

Step 6: Blend
Blend the ingredients for about 15 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.

Step 7: Empty glass
Empty the now-chilled cocktail glass.

Step 8: Pour & serve
Pour contents into the glass and serve.
