How to make a Banana Old Fashioned - Toronto cocktail variation
How to make a Banana Old Fashioned - Toronto cocktail variation
#oldfashionedcocktail #bourbon #drinks
This cocktail recipe is one of my favourite Old Fashioned cocktail variation. As I already said in the video I made about the Toronto cocktail, I like the extra bitterness in the Toronto. Many times I feel the Old Fashioned cocktail recipe is too sweet so it's the best of both worlds. Now in this version of the Toronto, the extra complexity added by the banana liqueur, makes for an even better riff on the classic Toronto cocktail.
How to make this Toronto cocktail variation, the Banana Old Fashioned or the Banana Toronto... you choose. But no matter the name you choose, it is to my opinion a delicious bourbon cocktail recipe.
2 oz Bourbon
0.5 oz Banana liqueur
0.25 oz Fernet Branca
2 Dashes Angostura bitters
Lemon zest

I love Old Fashioned variation because sometimes, I feel a regular Old Fashioned is a little too sweet or flat. But let's faceit I love a good bourbon drink recipe so I'm always down to play with the Old Fashioned cocktail recipe.
