How To make Banana Spice Cookies
1/2 c Shortening
1 c Brown sugar; packed
2 Eggs
1 c Bananas; mashed ripe(3 med)
2 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Cloves; ground
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Walnuts; chopped
1/2 c Raisins
Recipe by: Taste of Home magazine In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs and bananas; mix well. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts and raisins. Chill (dough will be very soft). Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

¾ Cup of Granulated Sugar
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
Cream to Soften butter
2 Large eggs
1 Tsp. of Cinnamon
½ Tsp. of Cardamom (optional)
1 Tbsp. of Nutmeg
2 ¼ Cup of Flour
1 Tsp. of Baking Soda
1 Tsp. of Salt
Mix on Low Speed
Gradually increase
Small Ice Cream Scoop or Table Spoon to Scoop Dough
Approximately 1 in. in Diameter
Top with Granola
Bake at 350 ̊F Convection or 375 ̊F Still Oven for 10-12 Minutes
Place on Cooling Rack immediately
