How To make Barbara's Cinnamon Rolls
1/2 c Lukewarm water (105 F to 115
-F) 2 Envelopes dry yeast
1 ts Sugar
1 1/2 c Milk
6 tb (3/4 stick) butter
2 ts Salt
1/4 c Sugar
5 1/2 To 6 cups all-purpose flour
2 Eggs, beaten
1/2 To 3/4 cup (1 to 1 1/2
-sticks) butter, melted 1 1/2 c Sugar
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
Makes 48 rolls Butter muffin tins; set aside. Mix together water, yeast and sugar in small bowl and let proof until foamy, about 10 minutes. Combine milk, butter and salt in small saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Pour into large mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup sugar and 4 cups flour 1 cup at a time, mixing thoroughly after each cup of flour is added. Add eggs and mix with dough hook on low speed 3 to 4 minutes. When dough has cooled to lukewarm, add yeast and remaining flour. Mix on medium speed 4 to 5 minutes, scraping bowl several times. Divide dough in half and roll into rectangular sheets 1/4 inch thick. Brush surfaces with melted butter.
Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over dough. Roll up each sheet tightly and lay seam side down. Slice into 1/2-inch rounds and place in muffin tins. Cover lightly and let rise in warm draft-free area until doubled in bulk. About 15 minutes before rolls are ready to bake, preheat oven to 400 F. You can prepare them a day ahead and bake them fresh in the morning! That’s my rich decadent sweet way to wish all of you a wonderful 2015!!!

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls with CreamCheese Icing - Better than Cinnabon's!!
A homemade cinnamon rolls for everyone to make, it is easy and absolutely delicious. It is better than the Cinnabon you buy at the mall! Share this video with everybody...the secret to a soft, moist bun is a mashed potato.

Cinnamon roll ingredients: -
(all ingredients room temp)
1/2 cup mash potatoes - this is the secret to soft moist buns
1 cup milk
4 T butter
2 T sugar
2 t salt
4 cups sifted flour
2 1/4 t yeast
Knead in mixing bowl for 10 -12 min. form into ball
1 t oil in bowl
Cover - let rest for 1 hour
*Vanilla butter:
1 - 2 t vanilla
3 heaping tsp of butter
(Preheat oven to 375)
Roll dough out into a rectangle
Brush on vanilla butter
*Sprinkle on about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of dark brown sugar
*Sprinkle on cinnamon to desired amount
Roll dough into a log - divide into 12 - 14 rolls - place in buttered baking dish
Cover and let rest for 30 minutes
*Melt about 2 to 3 Tbs of butter along with 2 Tbs of sugar
Brush on top of rolls
Place in oven for about 15 to 17 minutes - depending on your oven
Let rolls cool for about 10 minutes
*Icing/Topping:
4 oz of soft cream cheese
2 to 3 t of milk
1 cup of powered sugar - add 1 or 2 more tsp of sugar if needed for desire thickness
1 t vanilla
Spoon or poor over warm rolls
