2 c FLOUR 1 t SALT 3/4 c MILK 3 ts BAKING POWDER 1/4 c SHORTENING SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A MIXING BOWL. CUT IN SHORTENING. ADD MILK GRADUALLY AND MIX WITH A FORK. PUT DOUGH ON FLOURED SURFACE AND KNEAD. LIGHTLY PAT TO A 1 INCH THICKNESS. CUT WITH A FLOURED BISCUIT CUTTER. BAKE ON AN UNGREASED BAKING SHEET. BAKE AT 375 DEG F. UNTIL GOLDEN IN COLOR.

--- Banana Bread Cookies Recipe
INGREDIENTS - 3 large bananas (mashed) - 2 cups rolled oats (can sub for quick oats) - 1/2 cup peanut butter (can sub for any nut or seed butter) - 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 180*C/350*F. Line large baking tray with baking paper, then set aside. 2. In large mixing bowl, combine bananas, oats, and peanut butter. Mix well. If batter is too thin, add more oats. Fold chocolate chips through, if using them. 3. Using your hands or cookie scoop, form batter into 12 balls and set on the lined baking tray. Press each ball into a cookie shape. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until slightly firm at the edges, then remove from oven. Allow to cool on the tray completely. 4. Enjoy!
