How To make Black Bean Hummus
16 oz Black beans
1 tb Tahini
3 tb Olive oil
1 ea Lime juiced
2 ea Garlic clove, sliced
Salt & pepper 1 ts Ground cumin
In a food procesor, combine all the ingredients & process till smooth. Cover & refrigerate till ready to use. Bring to room temperature before serving.

Black Bean Breakfast Casserole:
1 c. oil-free hasbhrowns
1/3 c. chopped bell pepper
1/4 c. riced cauliflower
1/2 c. black beans (you can season these with some onion powder & paprika for more flavor if you prefer!)
1 container liquid JUST Egg*
1/4 tsp. kala namak (aka black salt)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
+ green onions
Bake @ 375F for 45 mins.
*If you don't want to use JUST Egg, I would suggest using a recipe with tofu + chickpea flour such as this one: and add black beans to it!
Cilantro Lime Dressing
1/2 c. white beans
1/2 c. soaked cashews
1-2 cloves garlic (I used 1)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Juice of 1 1/2 limes
Handful cilantro (use the stems too to avoid waste!)
1/2 - 3/4 c. water (start with less and add more as needed)
1 TBL chopped jalapeño (I subbed with pickled hot pepper rings)
Blend all & taste! Adjust seasoning as needed.
Black Bean Mango Salsa (I loosely followed this recipe)
I modified by using 1 tsp. lime zest + juice of 1 lime & omitted Frank's Red Hot sauce
I also subbed jalapeño with pickled hot pepper rings + added corn & tomato
You can serve this salsa with these oil-free tortilla chips!

And baked at 375F for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through

I modified this recipe by changing oil to almond butter, omitting baking powder & adding 1/3 cup walnuts.

Black Bean Hummus
Healthy and nutritious and fiber enriched. This tasty appetizer will not spike your sugar and it is easy to make. Wow your friends with a real treat that has all the flavor you want to give this dish.

Ingredients
Black Bean base from dried beans:
1 lb or 2 cups of dried black beans
1 bay leaf
1 tsp chipotle
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red chili flakes
Directions
Soak beans overnight in water. The next day drain off the water and fill pot to about 1/2 - 1 inch of water above top of beans and bring to a boil. Then let simmer with a lid on for one hour or until tender. pour liquid into a bowl and set aside. Put cooked beans into a food processor.
Ingredients for Hummus
Beans from above recipe or 2 cans of black beans
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1/2 cup of tahini
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
t tsp garlic salt
1 tsp ground pepper
2 tsp of chili sauce or hot sauce
Directions
Blend all ingredients together, adding liquid from beans as needed until reaching the consistency preferred.
