Epic Turkish Bean Stew | How to make Kuru Fasulye
Kuru fasulye, Turkish white bean stew, is probably the most consumed dish in Turkey and is considered the national dish of Turkey. Today I'm making my favorite version which is a bit thicker than the usual recipe and has a more buttery and spicy flavor with sujuk, Turkish cured sausage. It's similar to Tavce Gravce, Macedonian or Balkan bean stew, but with a bit of Turkish twist.
Kuru fasulye means ‘dried beans’ and this recipe is traditionally made with dried white beans. Protein is also not a must have ingredient, so, if you’re vegan or vegetarian, just skip the meat.

Mexican RED CHILE SAUCE Recipe for Tamales, Enchiladas, Asado, Chili con Carne & More
This red chile sauce has been one of my most requested recipes and I'm sharing with you my version of our family recipe.
Getcha some APC BBQ Rubs Here:
This red chile sauce is so versatile, so delicious, and so easy to make. This sauce is awesome because at its base, it can be used on so many different dishes, from enchiladas to tamales to menudo and so much more. All you got to do is start with this base, and then you can tweak it in any direction, probably as many different sauces as there are chilies, and that's not even taking into account that every single house is going to do it a little bit different.
So whether you're in Texas, New Mexico, Mexico, or along the frontera or anywhere in the USA, remember my advice, what Arnie takes always says, ain't no right way, ain't no wrong way to make chili sauce, and don't let nobody tell you you can't do it the way you like it.
Maybe what your grandma taught your mom, what my grandma taught my mom and my mom taught me may not be exactly the same, even if they're similar, but of course, my grandma's is better than yours. Just kidding! Don't get mad!
Let me just cover real quickly the couple of the different chiles I have. Now, the package here says cascabel or guajillo. It doesn't mean they're the same thing because they're not, but it means you might get one or the other in this package or possibly both. We also have some ancho chile, and we also have some pasilla chile. And I also have some chile de arbol down here. We use that one in our red chili sauce just to give it a little hint of heat and a little more complex flavor.
All right, so in the recipe we're going to use 15 guajillo/cascabel chiles, a couple of ancho chiles, and probably about four or five of the chile de arbol, a whole onion, and six cloves of garlic. All right, friend, let's get started and make this amazing red chili sauce.

RESTAURANT STYLE CHICKPEA CURRY(VEGAN) | PUNJABI CHOLE MASALA
How To Make Chana Masala (Chickpea Curry) Using Dried Chickpeas - Restaurant Style Punjabi Chole Masala - Vegan Recipe
In this video I showed you how to make chana masala using dried chickpeas with tips and tricks on how to make the beans buttery soft. You can use the same technique while cooking any dried beans. This is a North Indian dish where the chickpeas have this typical deep brown color which is obtained from tea leaves. You won't be getting any tea flavor when you eat it (I promise). You can even cook the beans without a pressure cooker on the stovetop but in that case it will take about an hour for them to get soft and you need to add more water while cooking the beans.
????Please click on the link below and subscribe to Curries With Bumbi so that I can bring more new recipes for you--
Ingredients Required For Making Punjabi Chole Masala -
For Soaking The Chickpeas -
* 1 cup (200 gms/7 oz) dried chickpeas
* 1 liter or 4 cups (measuring cup) of plain tap water
* 1 tablespoon of salt
Mix well to dissolve the salt and soak the beans for 6 to 8 hours preferably overnight.
For Pressure Cooking -
* Rinsed out chickpeas
* 3 cups of hot water
* 2 inch length cinnamon stick
* 1 large dry bay leaf
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2 black tea bags. Please do not use any other flavored tea. Just plain black tea. If you do not have tea bags, add 3 teaspoons of loose tea in a clean cloth, tie the cloth with a string tightly so that the tea leaves do not leak out and add it to the chickpeas. Or, add 3 cups of water to a saucepan, bring it to a boil, add 3 teaspoons of tea and simmer it on low for 5 minutes. Strain this tea water into the pressure cooker. In this case remember instead of adding 3 cups of plain hot water you are adding 3 cups of tea water to the pressure cooker.
For the gravy -
* 2 medium to large onions finely chopped or grated
* 2 large or 4 medium tomatoes pureed or 1/3 rd to 1/2 cup of canned crushed tomatoes
* 1 & 1/2 inch length ginger finely chopped or grated
* 7 cloves of garlic finely chopped
* 1 green chilli (optional)
* chopped coriander leaves as desired
For spice paste -
* 1 tablespoon chana masala/chole masala
* 1 teaspoon ground coriander (dhania powder)
* 1/4 th teaspoon red chilli powder/cayenne pepper or paprika (optional)
* 1/4 th teaspoon ground turmeric(haldi powder)
Add a few tablespoons of water to the above spices and mix to make a paste.
* 1/4th teaspoon garam masala powder
* salt as per taste
* 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
* 3 to 4 tablespoons oil
* 1 teaspoon fresh lemon/lime juice (optional)
Serve this with roti, poori, naan or rice.
