How To make Butterburgers
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 c cottage cheese
1 egg
3/4 tsp dry mustard
3 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp MSG
1 tbsp chopped green onions
5 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
In a bowl mix the cottage cheese, egg, seasonings and green onion. Add the 3 tablespoons melted butter. Beat to mix. Add the ground beef and mix well. Make into 4 patties. Melt the 5 tablespoons butter in a hot frying pan. Cook the "burgers" to your liking, turning only once. Cut 4 hamburger buns in half. Dip cut sides into pan drippigs and place under broiler until lightly toasted. Place meat between bun halves and garnish with pickle fans. These have a good beefy flavor enhanced by the goodness of butter. When you want flavor .. use butter.

INGREDIENTS
Quick special sauce:
1/4 cup each of mayo, yellow mustard, maple and ketchup
Zest and juice of one small orange and lime
¼ cup pickled jalapeño
A splash of sherry vinegar
Burgers:
2 lb ground boneless chuck
1 lb ground sirloin
½ lb ground bacon
1 tsp each onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme
2 Tbsp dried shitake powder
¼ c Worcestershire sauce
Garnish:
American cheese
Butter pickles
Potato Rolls
RECIPE
In a bowl, combine all ingredients for sauce. Set aside until ready to assemble.
In a separate bowl, combine meat and then fold in spices, shitake powder and Worcestershire sauce. Divide into thin patties.
Cook patties over medium-high heat in a cast iron skillet or griddle top. Layer 2 patties with a slice of cheese between them.
Top with shaved onion and bread and butter pickles. Serve on a potato roll burger.

Recipe: Ground Chuck Butter Burgers
Do this with all your beef burgers. You’ll never go back to store-ground again.
Serving Size : 4
What You Do:
Pulse 1-1/2 pounds trimmed, slightly frozen ground beef chuck in a food processor until ground. Mix ground beef with ½ teaspoon kosher salt. Form into four ¾ inch patties; make a indentation in the center of each. Heat butter in a cast-iron or heavy skillet over medium-high heat; sprinkle the skillet with salt. Cook the burgers 4 to 5 minutes per side. Top with more butter and serve on buttered buns.

Ingredients:
1 pound Ground Beef
1 Onion grated or pureed
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
½ teaspoon Black Pepper
2 tablespoons Butter diced
4 tablespoons Ghee (clarified butter) or beef tallow
8 slices American Cheese or cheddar cheese
4 Hamburger Buns
Optional Toppings that I love:

Caramelized Onions To Make: Take a large onion and slice it. Put in a pan on medium heat with 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir occasionally. You can choose to put lid on while you’re not stirring. After onions are completely softened and browned remove from heat. Should take about 25 minutes.

The Wisconsin butter burger is a unique and curious conception. It first appeared on the menu of solly's grille, and has since become a staple treat among many Americans today. When I first heard about this burger I was excited and outraged at the same time. with the sheer amount of butter being used, I needed a coronary just from looking at it!
That being said, I am a man of endeavour, so I thought i'd give it a go. The butter burger comprises of a high quality beef patty placed on top of a toasted bun, with cheese and stewed onions. All sounds fine right? However, the top half of the bun is coated in an inch thick layer of Wisconsin butter! It's then placed on top, and as the butter melts, it seeps through the whole thing. Now I couldn't get Wisconsin butter, so I got the next best thing which is Brittany butter, I mean.....they are practically neighbours right?
I advise that you only have this as a treat, because with the amount of butter being used here, is quite frankly, staggering......but delicious staggering.
To make the Wisconsin butter burger you will need:
►2 medium onions
►2 burger patties
►2 burger buns
►About 100ml of white wine
►Room temperature good quality salted butter
►Slices of cheddar cheese
►Salt & pepper
►Olive oil
