Butterscotch Coffee Recipe - Dedicated to the coffee lovers out there! ????
Next time you want a pick-me-up, treat yourself with this breezy butterscotch coffee ❤️
Serves : 1 Shelf life: Hot hot best consumed hot, of course! ☕️
INGREDIENTS : 1. White sugar - 2 tsp 2. Butter, softened - 1 tsp 3. Hot milk (boiled or pasteurised) - 200 ml (1 small tumbler) 4. Instant coffee powder - 1/2 tsp or to taste 5. Sugar - 1/2 tsp - OPTIONAL
???? Increase the sugar and butter by half the quantity if you would like the taste of butterscotch to be stronger.
TIPS:
???? Use a heavy bottomed milk pan to caramelise the sugar. ???? Ensure the pan is dry before adding sugar. ???? Remember to prepare the coffee on LOW HEAT throughout, otherwise the sugar would crystallise or butterscotch may get burnt. You can use the lowest heat setting on the smallest burner/plate. ???? Stay careful while adding hot milk to the hot butterscotch.
