CAMPFIRE POTATOES | DINNER RECIPES | EP 0222
So, this is an oldie but goodie camping recipe that has been around forever. And when we are camping, we love to cook over the campfire or on the grill. We use a Blackstone, but any grill will work for this recipe if you do not want to cook over the fire. You can also make these in your RV oven (if equipped), of on the stove top in a pan. If your RV has an oven, you have probably noticed that most of them are too small to really cook anything in. However, we have found recipes that we can cook in these small ovens. Foil packs are one of these that work great in a small RV oven. But we would only use our oven if the weather were bad outside. Foil packet recipes are simple and make cleaning up easier.
This is a great dinner recipe or use it as a side dish with hamburgers, steak, hot dogs etc. Just make sure to slice your potatoes thin so that they will cook all the way through and are not hard.
This is a great recipe to make at the campsite and only takes about 15 minutes of prep time.
