Eggs 2 Tbls Milk 1/4 Cup Unbleached Flour Salt And Freshly Ground Pepper, To Taste 2 Tbls Butter Or Margarine 1 Recipe Cream Gravy (See Sauces) Cut the steak crosswise into 4 serving pieces. Place one piece between two sheets of plastic wrap then using a rolling pin or meat pounder, pound to a 1/4-inch thickness. Repeat with the remaining pieces. In a pie plate, beat
the milk and eggs together, in a second pie plate combine the flour and the seasonings together. Dip each piece of steak first into the egg mixture then into the flour mixture, coating completely. Shake gently to remove the excess flour mixture. Melt the butter in a 12-inch skillet, using medium heat, fry the steaks, two at a time, about 5 minutes on a side or until golden brown on each side. OLD SCHOOL CHICKEN FRIED STEAK WITH SKILLET GRAVY
This is a simple and quick recipe for old school chicken fried steak with white cream skillet gravy

this whole recipe takes 20-30 minutes to make
It's so so easy and filling
Recipe
2 round steak cutlets
1 whole eggs
2 cup buttermilk
Salt snd pepper
Mix eggs and 1:2 cup milk in bowl
Season meat with salt and pepper
Bread with flour/egg milk /flour
Fry in hot oil until golden brown on each side
Remove from skillet
Drain all oil leaving 1/3 cup oil in skillet
Add 2 tablespoons flour and stir 2 minutes
Add 1 1/2 cups whole milk and cook until thickened
Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat
Pour over meat and ENJOY!!

Ingredients:
2 Cubed Steaks
2 cups self-rising flour
1-2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules
2 tablespoons corn starch
1 egg
2 cups buttermilk * (buttermilk substitute 2 cups milk with 2 tablespoons white vinegar)
(dip steaks in buttermilk, flour, then buttermilk & flour again, then rest for 10-15 minutes)
Fry in 1 1/2 inches of oil at 350 f
Make gravy from small amount of pan oil
2-3 tablespoons oil
2-3 tablespoons flour
1-2 cups milk
Salt & pepper to taste

1/4 cup (60 ml) water
cooking oil for frying
**GRAVY**
1/4 cup (60 ml) cooking oil
3 Tbsp (27 g) all purpose flour
1/4 tsp onion powder
2 to 2 1/2 cups (473 to 591 ml) whole milk
salt and pepper to taste
