Ingredients:
1 head of iceberg lettuce ( can also use butter lettuce)
1 pound ground chicken
1 tbsp olive oil
5 tbsp hoisin sauce ( can be found at your local grocery )
2 tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp Sriracha sauce
1 tbsp ginger paste
3 minced garlic cloves
1tbsp rice vinegar
2 green onions (chopped )
8 oz chopped watered chestnuts (drained)

Chicken Lettuce Wraps | Cooking With The Kems
Chicken Lettuce Wraps are a healthy, delicious appetizer and meal, you can whip them up super fast and eat right away. 1 lb. ground chicken
4-5 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 onion small dice
4 tbsp Hoisin sauce
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp sriracha hot sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 inch Piece of Ginger, finely minced
12 ounces chestnuts, drained and diced
2 stalks Green scallions, thinly sliced, separate whites from greens.
1 head iceberg lettuce cut into quarters
Crispy rice noodles for garnish
Chili threads
Sauce
½ cup low sodium soy sauce
½ tbsp yuzu juice or lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
Sesame seeds
Wasabi paste to taste
Directions
1. Have all ingredients at the ready
2. In a large sauté pan heat to medium high and add vegetable oil and swirl
3. Add onion and begin to sweat for about 2 to 3 minutes then add ginger and cook for another two minutes before adding garlic and cook until garlic is California tan.
4. Ground chicken in and cook until chicken is cooked through. Cook on high and this should not take very long.
5. Once the chicken is all white and cooked. Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sriracha, along with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Cook until the sauce is glazed onto the chicken
7. Add chestnuts in and the whites of the scallions
8. Serve immediately or cool for later and serve over fried rice noodles and lettuce
9. Garnish with green scallions when about to serve.
