How To make Chicken Thighs Glazed with Orange Thyme Cumin
1/2 c Dry white wine
1/4 c Red wine vinegar
1/4 c Fresh orange juice
2 tb Fresh lime juice
3 tb Soy sauce, low sodium
2 tb Fresh thyme leaves
Minced 1 Clove garlic :
minced
1 tb Honey
1 ts Fresh ginger minced
1 ts Ground cumin
1 Chopped jalapeno pepper :
Seeded, optional 8 Skinless chicken thighs
Remove the skin and the surface layer of fat from the thighs. Rinse. Towel dry. In a large nonstick skillet, combine the sauce ingredients, including the jalapeno. Over medium-high heat, bring the mixture to a boil, then add the chicken (bones up). Reduce theheat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the cover, turn the chicken pieces over, raise the heat to medium and cook until the liquid is evaporated and the chicken is glazed, about 10 to 15 minutes. Adjust heat as necessary. PanTry: Shoyu, a Japanese soy sauce that is lower in salt. Substitutions: Vegetable stock or water for dry white wine. Canned jalapeno pepper. 1 tablespoon of garlic chives, snipped instead of clove garlic. Do NOT substitute white meat. Pat's note: If you make 6 thighs, do *not* reduce the recipe's sauce. Baked Orange Chicken
Ingredients:
Red Onion
Salt
2 Garlic cloves
18 oz of frozen condensed orange juice
1 cup of dried apricots
3-4 teaspoons of turmeric
3-4 teaspoons of paprika
2-3 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of cumin
2 tablespoons of Soy sauce
1/2 cup of rose
Coconut milk
Chop the red onion and saute in an oven-safe pan (cast iron) with avocado oil
Add a pinch of salt
Coarse chop the garlic and add it to your pan, then mix
Add the chicken on top of the onions, starting with the dark meat
Cut the dried apricots as the chicken is searing
Season the chicken with 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 teaspoons of turmeric, 2 teaspoons of paprika, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
Once the first side of the chicken is nicely seared, flip it over
Add seasoning to the other side of the chicken: 1 teaspoon of each seasoning except cumin
Then add the apricots on top
Add the rest of the chicken (white meat) on top
Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
Add more turmeric, paprika, cumin, and cinnamon on top of the white meat
Add 1/2 a cup of Rose and enough coconut milk to cover half of the chicken
Add the condensed orange juice on top
*the dark meat sits at the bottom since it takes longer to cook*
Place your pan in the oven and close with a lid
Bake at 450 degrees for about 2 hours. Check it after the first hour. Mix it and taste to see if it is seasoned to your liking

The most DELICIOUS honey and orange chicken! Recipe in description #shorts
I posted a version of this a while back, but here is a refresher with a different puree! Follow @casterazucar for more cooking like this super simple Honey and Orange chicken thighs.
You're going to need:
- 4 Chicken thighs from @fieldandflower
- A heaped tablespoon of creamed honey or #hothoney
- Juice of 1 orange
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- @lachinatasmokedpaprika (optional)
- fresh soft herb- basil, coriander (cilantro), thyme- these all work well!
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a small pot, drizzle olive oil, and add garlic. Bring the garlic to a light sizzle, then add the juice and honey. Simmer until all the ingredients have mixed well and are bubbling.
In a dry non-stick frying pan, sear your chicken thighs to nice and toasty all over (about 5mins), then add the juice/honey/garlic mixture. Cook the chicken in the mixture on a medium heat for 4-5 minutes and the sauce begins to darken, turning them making sure they're completely coated.
Transfer to the oven for another 15 minutes, turning them once or twice to make sure they're getting love from that sauce.
Pull them out when they're nice and dark and toasty. Season with salt and pepper, or even some spicy @lachinatasmokedpaprika
The Halloumi chunks and potato chunks are Spanish potato and Halloumi pieces, deep fried and tossed in cumin, spicy paprika, salt, and ground celery seeds.

How to Make Yummy Citrus Herb Grilled Chicken? Find the recipe below.
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes + marinating time
Cook Time: 75 minutes
Ingredients:
3.5 lb spatchcocked Whole Chicken
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
juice from 1/2 Lemon
juice from 1/2 Lime
juice from 1/2 Orange (optional)
1/2 Tbsp. Cumin
1 Tbsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Chili Powder
1/2 tsp. Paprika
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon lime and orange juice and spices. Coat a chicken on all sides. Place the chicken in the fridge and allow it to marinate for at least 2 hours.
Set your grill to medium-high heat. Place the chicken skin side down and grill for 45 seconds-1 minute. Turn the chicken 45 degrees and grill for an additional 30-45 seconds. Turn the chicken once more and grill for an additional minute or so, or until the skin of the chicken is nicely browned.
Flip the chicken over. Move the chicken over to one side of the grill and shut those burners off. Keep the burners on high on the opposite side of the grill in order to set up a direct and indirect heating zone. Set your ThermoPro thermometer to 165 degrees Fahrenheit, or the poultry setting, and place the thermometer probe in the thickest part of the breast. If you are using a thermometer with two probes, you can set one probe into the breast and one probe into the thickest part of the thigh. Cover the grill and grill until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees. Serve the chicken along with slices of lemon and lime.
