4 oz Chipped beef 1/4 c Butter 1/4 c Flour 3 c Milk Salt Pepper In bowl, soak chipped beef in hot water until softened, then drain. Melt butter in saucepan, add flour and stir until blended. Whisk in milk and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 2 minutes. Add chipped beef and season to taste with salt and pepper.

BISCUIT SOS | Chipped Beef Gravy Over Biscuits
S.O.S. was made famous by the military dish of chipped beef gravy over white bread toast. This biscuit s.o.s. recipe is a variation of that classic dish. Creamy gravy with dried chipped beef served over biscuits.
Shopping List: 1 small can biscuit grands (5 biscuits) Non-stick spray 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. all purpose flour Pinch salt and pepper for the gravy (1) 2.25 ounce bottle Armour Dried Beef
Directions: Bake the biscuits in the oven or air fryer Dried beef is extremely salty. To reduce this, rinse the jar 2-3 times to rid excess salt. Cut into bite-size pieces. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter then add the flour. Stir until a roux forms, about 2 minutes, then add the milk. Stir until smooth. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and add the dried beef. Stir. Serve gravy over the biscuits.
