1/2 c Finely chopped almonds
1 1/2 c Sugar
4 oz Butter, melted
4 Eggs
4 oz Bitter chocolate, melted
1 1/2 ts Almond extract
2 c Flour
1 c Corn meal
1 ts Salt (optional)
1/2 ts Baking powder
1 c Milk
Chocolate Almond Pound Cake This recipe came from the echo in my early days on it. I didn't record who posted it. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease a 12 c bundt pan. Coat sides with almonds. In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each egg. Stir in chocolate and almond extract. Combine flour, corn meal, salt and baking powder. Add alternately with milk to chocolate mixture, mixing at low speed until well blended. Spoon into pan. Bake 50-60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. remove from pan and cool on rack. Serves 16 *Ellen*

Best Almond Pound cake Recipe
This ALMOND POUND CAKE is so easy to make. It is best to have some with tea. Must try this recipe, I'm sure you are gonna love it.

ingredients:
eggs 3
caster sugar 150g
oil 150g
self raising flour 150g
vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
milk 2tbsp
almonds (chopped and roasted) 1/4 cup
(and if you dont have self raising flour, just add 1tsp of baking powder into the flour( 150g) and sift)
.
direction:
take eggs in a bowl and beat for a minute while beating gradually add the sugar and oil and beat altogether for 2 to 3 minutes.
sift self raising flour in the egg mixture and mix.
add vanilla essence and milk in the batter and mix well.
pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes 180°C.

The Best Almond Pound Cake, easy and simple tea break recipe

Ingredients
3 eggs
150g sugar (if you prefer not sweet, keep it at 130g)
150g oil (I used Mazola brand oil)
150g self raising flour / (150g plain wheat flour + 1 tsp of baking powder)
2 tbsp fresh milk / any other milk (used Dutch lady brand)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup of almond flakes / nibs, roasted
1-2 tbsp roasted nibs to be added before baking
1-2 tsp almond flour, optional (can get from bakery shop)
2-3 tsp chocolate rice / chocolate chip, optional
24cm × 10cm x 6cm / 9 inch pan used for baking
