How To make Chocolate Chip Whoppers
3 tbsps unsalted butter
2 ozs unsweetened chocolate
2 c semisweet chocolate chips
2 extra lg eggs
2 tsps freeze dried coffee crystals
2 tbsps vanilla
3/4 c sugar
1/3 c flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c pecans
coarsely chopped
1 c walnuts :
coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter and grease two large cookie sheets. Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips. When chips are almost melted, remove mixture from the heat. Mix eggs, coffee crystals, vanilla and sugar until smooth. Stir into the chocolate mixture. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) and stir into the chocolate mixture. Add nuts and remaining chocolate chips. Stir well. Drop 1/4 cup of batter onto prepared baking sheet. Place cookies about 1-1/2" apart.
Bake for 13 - 15 minutes or until the tops look "crusty and crackling but the insides are still "moist". Let stand on baking sheet for 3 - 4 minutes, then place onto a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Makes 18 cookies.

The WORST Cookies EVER
I do not like the pink frosted sugar cookies from the store. The texture is like sand. The frosting is always dry and far too sweet. The entire cookie tastes like a chemical. I do love the concept of this cookie though, so I decided to recreate them at home! They were so much fun to bake and decorate. I'm prepared for a war in the comments.

Whopper Cookie Bars (shugarysweets.com)
Ingredients:
Cookie Base:
3/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
2 TBS milk
1 1/4c. light brown sugar, packed
q large egg
1/4 cup malted milk powder
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp kosher salt (I used regular)
3/4 tsp baking soda
Topping:
12 ounce package milk chocolate morsels ( I used 10 oz dark)
1 can ( 14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup Ovaltine chocolate malt powder
12 oz box Whoppers, slightly beaten
Instructions:
1.Preheat oven to 375*
2. In large mixing bowl, beat crisco, milk, and brown sugar until combined. Add egg and beat until fully combined. Slowly beat in malted milk powder, flour, salt and baking soda.
3. Press cookie dough into a large baking sheet with one inch sides. Bake for 18-20 minutes until browned. Remove from oven.
4. Meanwhile, in large sauce pan, heat sweetened condensed milk over low heat. Add in milk chocolate and heat until smooth, whisking constantly. Remove from heat and whisk in Ovaltine powder. Pour into prepared cookie crust.
5. Pour whoppers into a large ziplock bag. Lay on a cutting board and whack it 2-3 times with a frying pan. Don't pulverize the whoppers, and it's okay if some are still whole. Press whoppers into fudge layer.
6. Refrigerate cookies for 2 hours or overnight. Cut into squares, enjoy!
