How To make Chocolate Date Nut Bread
-Barb Day GWHP32A 1/4 c Better for Bread flour
3/4 c Wheat flour
1/3 c Instant nonfat dry milk
1 tb Cocoa; unsweetened
2 tb Sugar
2 tb Gluten
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Instant coffee granules
1/8 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Walnuts or halved pecans
-broken 1 Egg
2 tb Canola;or veg. oil
1 tb Honey
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Apple juice heated with
4 tb Water
2/3 c Dates; chopped
1/3 c Chocolate chips
1 pk Yeast Place all ingredients (EXCEPT DATES AND CHOCOLATE CHlPS)
into the pan in the order listed. Select white bread and push "Start" (dough will seem overly soft at first). Add dates and chips at the "beep," 88 minutes into the cycle(33 min. for DAK Turbo II Great taste for everyone. With a dusting of confectioners' sugar, quarter- round slices of this scrumptious bread can double as "brownies." Shared by Barb Day

This healthy no sugar no fat date bread recipe is perfect for breakfast or for those times you are trying to reduce sugar intake but are craving something sweet. This bread gets its sweetness from the dates and the banana ???? and can be eaten as it is or with some Greek yogurt and maple syrup on top or with caramel sauce on top????
THE RECIPE
200g pitted dates + 1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda + 500ml boiling water
1 ripe banana
150g of natural Greek yogurt
2 eggs
150g flour
100g almond meal
1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda
Preparation instructions in the video.
Bake the date bread in 180 C at the middle shelf of the oven for 50-60 minutes. Check with a toothpick if the bread is baked through. Let cool for about half an hour before removing from the tin. Serve chilled or cool.

Date Loaf Video Recipe cheekyricho
A real old fashioned family favourite, cheekyrichos Date Loaf in a Nut Tin. Best eaten warm with cold butter spread onto it. Nostalgia in a roll. We hope you give it a try.
INGREDIENTS:
150 grams water
120 grams chopped pitted dates
1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda
75 grams brown sugar
160 grams self raising flour
1 egg
40 grams nuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
30 mm piece of vanilla bean
50 grams butter
METHOD:
Boil water, brown sugar, butter & chopped vanilla bean until sugar is dissolved, add dates and boil abut 5 minutes until syrupy & pulpy. Remove from heat. Grease Nut Loaf Tin well and set aside. To the date mixture add bicarb soda, flour,cinnamon & nuts mix until combined and pour into the prepared tin. Place the lid on and bake 45 minutes at 170 degrees celsius. Allow to cool slightly before removing ends of tin and turning out onto a wire rack. Slice while still warm and serve with cold butter.

Date Nut Bread Recipe / Easy Recipe
Date Nut Bread
2 C Dates - chopped
4 Tbsp Butter - softened
3/4 C Brown Sugar
1 C Hot Coffee
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Tbsp Vodka
1 3/4 C Flour
1 C Walnuts - chopped
In a medium sized bowl add chopped dates, salt, baking soda, brown sugar & butter. Pour in hot coffee and stir. Set aside for 30 minutes.
Beat egg in a large bowl. Add vanilla, vodka & baking powder. Mix well. Gradually add in flour, mix until smooth. Stir in walnuts.
Lightly grease a 8 x 4 loaf pan. Pour in batter spreading evenly. Tap a few times to get the air bubbles out.
Bake @ 350 for 45 - 50 minutes. After 30 minutes tent with foil so the bread doesn't brown too fast. Return to oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Healthy | Soft and Moist | Date and Walnut Bread Recipe
A moist and spongy bread with date and Walnut.
Ingredients:
2 cups dates (pitted and chopped)
chopped walnuts(as per your choice)
1 cup warm milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg (room temperature)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter(room temperature)
for Dry ingredients:
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
Method:
1)In a bowl add the chopped dates and pour a cup of warm milk over the dates and leave to cool.
2)Let's prepare the dry ingredients, in a bowl sieve the wheat, all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda into it and mix well.
3)In a separate bowl, blend the butter until it turns light and fluffy.
4)Add sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and beat well.
5)In a blender, blend the soaked dates(with milk) to a smooth paste.
6)Transfer to the already prepared(the butter, sugar, egg) mixture and blend until it turns smooth.
7)Add the dry ingredients into it and stir just until it combined.
8)Place the batter into the baking pan(Grease with butter), smoothing the top with a spoon. Add the chopped walnuts on top of it.
9)Bake about 30 minutes in a preheated Oven for 350 degrees F until the bread turns brown in color or a toothpick(skewers) inserted comes out clean.
10)Yummy, Spongy, and the most delicious date and walnut bread are ready. Enjoy!!
