How To make Chocolate Peanut Clusters
1/2 c Milk Chocolate Chips
-- (Hershey's) 1/2 c Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
-- (Hershey's) 1 tb Shortening
-(do not use butter, -margarine or oil) 1 c Unsalted, roasted peanuts
In small microwave-safe bowl, place milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips and shortening. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Stir in peanuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls into 1-inch diameter candy or petit four papers. Allow to set until firm. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place. About 2 dozen candies. Hershey's is a registered trademark of Hershey Foods Corporation. Hi Everyone!
Today we will be making a no-bake, 2-ingredient treat. So delicious & very easy to make.
A must try!
Recipe:
1-1/4 cups semi sweet chocolate chips or any good quality semi-sweet chocolate
1-1/2 cups salted roasted peanuts
Best Tasting Chocolate Peanut Clusters....Easy Recipe for Chocolate Covered Peanuts
Recipe
5 Cups of Dry Roasted Peanuts
2 LBS of White Chocolate Coating
12 oz. of Milk Chocolate Chips
12 oz. of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Place all ingredients in a slow cooker on low for 2 hours. Mix every 30 minutes until all of the chocolate has melted. Scoop out clusters on wax paper and let cool for 1 hour.
CHOCOLATE COVERED PEANUT CLUSTERS
Chocolate Covered Peanut Clusters
48 ounces Chocolate Bark
24 ounces Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2 tablespoons Coconut Shortening or Vegetable Shortening
4 pounds Salted Cocktail Style or Dry Roasted Peanuts
Melt chocolates with the coconut shortening in a double boiler until smooth. Pour in the peanuts and scoop out onto baking sheets lines with waxed paper. I used a 2-tablespoon scoop. Let harden and pack into airtight containers. No need to refrigerate. Last at least a couple of weeks if not longer.
