How To make Cranberry Shrub
1 qt Cranberry juice
2 c Sugar
1 Lemon rind,
2/3 c Lemon juice
1 qt Club soda
1 pt Tart sherbet;(opt)
Simmer cranberry juice, sugar and rind, uncovered, in a saucepan (NOT aluminum) 10 minutes, stirring now and then. Off heat, mix in lemon juice; cool, pour into a bottle, cover and refrigerate. Serve as is on the rocks in punch cups or small glasses. OR, half fill a tall glass with shrub, add ice, and fill with club soda. OR, pour into punch cups and top each serving with a scoop of tart sherbet. From: Terri St.Louis

Welcome to Garden to Table Marilyn style! Today I am making a cranberry shrub. You can use any kind of fruit in this recipe and it is a great way to preserve your fruit harvest. I've used blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, and now cranberries. So please join me in reviving this vintage recipe for fruit shrubs.
Cranberry Cinnamon Old Fashioned | Drink Recipe
Cranberry Cinnamon Old Fashioned:
Ingredients:
Ice
3 oz. Bourbon (we used Eagle Rare)
1 oz. Cinnamon Simple Syrup
Dash of Cranberry Shrub (Vinegar-based Simple Syrup) - See Below
Dash of Orange Bitters
Cranberry Shrub Recipe:
1 cup of cranberries, sugar, and white vinegar each. Boil on stove for a minute. Cool and strain.
Directions:
1. Fill shaker 3/4 full of ice.
2. Pour bourbon and cinnamon simple syrup into shaker. Add in cranberry shrub and orange bitters.
3. Shake ingredients for 30 seconds and pour into glasses with ice.
4. Top off with leftover cranberries from cranberry shrub recipe. Add orange peel to garnish.

Cranberry Cocktail | Prosecco Shrub
*Makes 2C of Shrub, but this is highly concentrated, to be used like a simple syrup.
You’ll Need:
12 oz cranberries
1C sugar
3/4C apple cider vinegar
1 Lime, zested and juiced
Icy cold Prosecco or if you’re doing this as non alcoholic...just use some sparkling water!
Mix cranberries, sugar, apple cider vinegar and lime in a pan on medium high. Cook until the cranberries pop. Simmer for 10 mins. Strain.
Pour about 1/4C into a glass, top with your Prosecco or Sparkling Water. Garnish with lime.
