How To make Crispy Bean Curd Cubes with Peanut Dipping Sauce
3/4 lb Bean curd (tofu)
- cut into 1-inch cubes 1 1/4 c Peanut oil; for deep-frying
SAUCE:
1 oz Roasted peanuts
1 tb Sugar
2 tb Water
2 ts Chinese white rice vinegar
-OR- cider vinegar 1 tb Finely chopped cilantro
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Chili oil
Combine the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside. Heat the 1 1/4 cups oil in a deep-fat fryer or a large wok until it almost smokes. Deep-fry the bean curd cubes in two batches. When each batch of bean curd cubes is lightly browned, remove and drain well on paper towel. Arrange the bean curd cubes on a platter and serve the peanut sauce separately as a dipping sauce. Ingredients for baked tofu
500 grams firm tofu around 3 cups tofu cubes
1 teaspoon vegetable oil/ any neutral-flavored cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Other ingredients
1 small head of broccoli around 3 cups boccoli florets
4-5 garlic cloves minced (adjust to taste)
1 inch ginger piece minced
2 stalks scallion finely chopped
1 Thai red chili/ or any hot chili finely chopped
½ cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon red chili sauce adjust to taste
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
½ tablespoon vegetable/ peanut oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar skip if peanut butter has sugar in it
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds white/ black
½ cup boiling hot water

- Chilli oil or/and chopped chilli pepper (optional)

Recipe:
570g tofu
4 tbsp corn or potato starch
5 tbsp teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 vinegar
1 tbsp cooking wine or mirin (optional)
4 tbsp water
1 scallion
1 green chili pepper
1 red chili pepper
1 small-sized onion
1 medium-sized carrot
2 garlic cloves
sesame seeds
1) Start by chopping the vegetables and cutting garlic into thin slices.
2) Pat dry tofu with a paper towel and cut them into small cubes.
3) Transfer the tofu cubes into a container and add starch. Close the lid and shake well.
4) Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the tofu cubes until golden brown. Set them aside.
5) Mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, mirin, and water.
6) Stir-fry garlic and scallion first until fragrant. Add in the vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
7) Add in the sauce and bring to a boil. Once it starts to boil, turn off the heat and put the tofu cubes into the frying pan. Mix well.
8) Serve with rice and enjoy ❤️

Crispy Garlic Tofu - Air Fryer
We are going to prepare this Vegan Crispy garlic tofu recipe using an air fryer. Crispy sweet and spicy Garlic tofu is quick to prepare, so flavorful and can be easily paired with rice, noodles, pita bread or eaten just as an appetizer.
Tofu is airfried till crispy and then mixed with this sweet and spicy homemade sauce along with some fried onion, spring onion greens and lots of garlic. This Crispy Garlic Tofu is one of the easiest recipes you can prepare at home which gives you a feel of restaurant style food.
This Vegan Crispy Garlic Tofu is one of my favorite recipes of tofu, it's so quick to prepare using the air fryer but you can make it in an Oven as well. Just cook the tofu in the oven till it's crispy and then follow the rest of the recipe

Tofu - 500 Grams
Salt - 1 Teaspoon
Cornstarch - 2 Tablespoons
Ingredients for sauce
Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
Agave Syrup - 2 Tablespoons
Red Wine Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
Soy Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
