Easy Homemade Hot Chocolate - Rich and Creamy
Creamy and rich hot chocolate is perfect to enjoy on a cold winter day. Super easy to make and tastes so much better than that powdery packet you can find in your grocery store.

???? INGREDIENTS
½ cup milk
½ cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract
???? INSTRUCTIONS
1) Place the milk and cream into a small saucepan and heat to a simmer over medium heat.
2) Stir together the sugar, cocoa powder and cinnamon in a small bowl.
3) Stir the cocoa/sugar mixture into the saucepan. Stir and simmer 4-5 minutes. Be careful not to let the milk boil.
4) Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
5) Pour into cup and enjoy.

A) You can make this hot chocolate with any type of milk, but the higher the fat content in the milk you use, the creamier the hot chocolate will taste.
B) Slow, even heating ensures the milk won't scald, so whisk the hot chocolate often and don't rush the process.
C) Consider adding a touch of Crème de Menthe or Bailey's Irish Cream to your hot chocolate = spectacular!

►SLOW COOKER BAILEYS IRISH CREAM HOT CHOCOLATE:
2 (4-oz.) pkgs. Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
6 cups whole milk
1/2 cup Baileys® Irish Cream
1/2 cup Rum Chata
- Break up the chocolate squares and add the slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients (except the Baileys & Rum Chata).
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours stirring every 30 minutes.
- After the cocoa is hot, stir in the Baileys Irish Cream & Rum Chata. - Set the slow cooker to warm for serving.
- Serve with marshmallows or whipped cream.

Today I made a Crockpot hot cocoa that I found on this channel. I was inable to find the exact video but I know you will enjoy all of her videos:
Crockpot Hot Cocoa:
2 cups chocolate chips
6 cup whole Milk
1&1/2cup heavy cream
1 to 3 tsp vanilla
1 can sweetened Condensed Milk
Congo Bars:
2/3cup butter softened
2&1/4 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2&3/4 c ap flour
2& 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c chopped pecans
6oz chocolate chips
Assemble per video instructions: bake at 350 for 30 minutes (mine took 40 minutes)

Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate
Today we're making SLOW COOKER HOT CHOCOLATE! Yep, you can make hot chocolate in the Crock-Pot, and once you try this method, you may never go back! ☕️ It's perfect for big groups, it uses ingredients you already have in your pantry, and it tastes AMAZING. Powdered cocoa mix? I don't know her. ???? Scroll down for the full recipe, and everything you’ll need to make this!

☕ SLOW COOKER HOT CHOCOLATE ☕
▸6 cups milk
▸1 cup cream
▸14 oz sweetened condensed milk
▸1 ½ cups chocolate chips
▸¼ cup cocoa powder
▸1 tsp vanilla extract
▸1/8 tsp salt
▸Whipped cream or mini marshmallows to serve
For this recipe, you’ll need a standard size slow cooker (4-6 qts). If you want to double it, use a 7-8 qt slow cooker.
Combine the milk, cream, condensed milk, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low. Whisk every 30 minutes or so, just to keep the chocolate from scorching around the sides. It’s a very forgiving recipe, so if you forget and wait longer, it’ll still be okay!
Cook for about 2 hours, until the chocolate is melted, the mixture is smooth, and your beverage is hot. If you’re not ready to drink it yet, switch the slow cooker to the warm setting and keep it warm for an additional 2-3 hours. Whisk well before serving.
Yields: about eight 8-oz mugs.
