How To make Curried Baked Pork Chops
6 boneless pork loin chops -- cut 3/4-inch thick
1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1 teaspoon dried thyme -- crushed
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 1/3 cups 1% lowfat milk
1 can reduced-fat and reduced-sodium condensed -- (10
3/4-oun
ce) -- cream of chicken soup 1/2 cup apple juice
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup golden raisins
1 teaspoon curry powder
Trim fat from meat. Sprinkle chops with lemon-pepper seasoning and thyme. In a large skillet brown chops in hot oil over medium-high heat about 4 minutes, t urning once. Set chops aside.
In a medium saucepan stir together the 1% lowfat milk, soup, and apple juice un til combined. Stir in the rice, celery, raisins, and curry powder. Bring mixt ure just to boiling.
Transfer rice mixture to a 3-quart rectangular baking dish. Top with chops. C over and bake in a 350? oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until chops and rice are te nder. Makes 6 servings.

One Pan Creamy Garlic Butter Pork Chops in 30 Minutes
One pan creamy butter pork chops are super delicious and easy to make. They make a great midweek meal as you can make them in 30 minutes.
Ingredients
2 butterfly pork chops sliced in half pounded and tenderized
1 egg
2 tbsp of corn starch
salt and pepper to taste
1 or 2 tbsp of butter
3 cloves of chopped garlic
1/2 tsp of turmeric
1/2 tsp curry powder
½ tsp of chili flakes
1½ cups of heavy cream
cilantro or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Add the chops, egg, corn starch, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Mix until well combined.
Put a generous amount of oil to a preheated pan and fry until the meat is a golden brown.
Remove the chops and set them aside.
In the same pan, add the butter in and allow it to melt down.
Place the garlic, turmeric/curry, and chili flakes in. Saute for a couple of minutes until the spices activate.
Pour the cream in and bring it to a boil.
Put the pork back in, allow it to simmer for about five minutes while spooning the sauce over the meat. Garnish with cilantro / parsley and serve.

GUAVA BBQ SAUCE INGREDIENTS
Yield: 28 oz/3 1/2 cups
2 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil¼ Cup Minced Onions2 Cloves of Garlic (minced)4 oz Angostura 1919 Dark Rum8 oz Guava Jam16 oz Smoky BBQ Sauce1 Tsp Cumin Powder1 Tsp Paprika Powder1 Tsp Chili Powder8 Dashes of ANGOSTURA® orange bitters
4 Dashes of ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters1 ¼ Tsp Salt¾ Tsp Black Pepper
METHOD
1. Place a medium sauce pan over high heat and add the vegetable oil.
2. When heated, add the onion and garlic and sauté for 3 minutes.
3. Carefully add the dark rum to flambé, tilting the pot away from your face to prevent burns.
4. When flame dies down, stir gently and immediately add the guava jam.
5. Reduce heat to medium and cook until the jam has melted down in consistency.
6. Add the bbq sauce, cumin, paprika and chili powders. Stir to combine and let simmer for 8 to 10 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent aggressive bubbles from breaking the surface.
7. Add the bitters and stir. Taste and season with salt and black pepper to your desire.
8. Remove from stove and use this sauce as your basting bbq sauce for grilling meats, also to baste pork, chicken, beef and seafood when baking in the oven or even when using a charcoal pit.
PORK CHOPS INGREDIENTS
Yield: 4 Servings
Pork Chops - 4 steaks (8 to 12 oz each)
Salt - 1 tsp
Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Green Seasoning - 1/2 cup
Guava BBQ Sauce - 1 1/2 cups
METHOD
1. Clean, wash and pat dry pork chops.
2. Place pork chops in a bowl.
3. Add salt, black pepper and fresh green seasoning.
4. Massage ingredients into the pork chops.
5. Cover and allow to marinate for 6 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
6. Preheat oven to 375°F.
7. Pour and massage bbq sauce onto the pork chops.
8. Place pork chops onto a greased baking sheet.
9. Pour remaining bbq sauce over the pork chops.
10. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes depending on the thickness of the chops.
11. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
