How To make Curried Crab Quiche
2 cans crab or
(7 1/2 oz.)
1 pound Alaska King crab
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons sherry
1 tablespoon finely chopped onions
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 cup cubed Swiss cheese
1 unbaked 10" pie shell
:
FILLING: 3 eggs :
well beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
Bake pie shell at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Combine well dr ained crab with lemon juice, sherry, onion, curry and parsley. Refrigerate 1-2 hours to blend flavors. Cover bottom of pastry shell with cubed cheese. Spread crab and seasonings over cheese. Combine all ingredients for filling and pour o ver all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned and set. C ool slightly and cut in wedges. Serves 6. Can serve this as a warm hors d'oeuvr es by cutting into miniature slices. Ingredients:
1 - 9 inch deep dish frozen pie crust
4-eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 dashes of Tabasco
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1(8 ounce) Imitation crab meat
I green onion chopped
- preheat oven to 350 degrees place pie crust in preheated oven for ten minutes or until starting to brown
-mix all you ingredients in a large bowl eggs, salt, hot sauce,cheese,onion and crab meat whisk together
-once fill crust are out the oven fill with the mixture
- bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven
- turn off oven but keep door close for 20-30 minutes

Seafood Quiche
This seafood quiche is perfect for any time of day, and can be made with the freshest ingredients for a delectable dish.
-1 refrigerated pie crust (or frozen deep-dish pie crust)
-1 1/2 cups chopped cooked, peeled shrimp
-1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
-1 cup (2-3 inch pieces) asparagus
-1/2 cup crabmeat, picked over
-1 1/2 cups half-and-half
-3 extra-large eggs, lightly beaten
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Unroll the pie crust and fit it into a deep-dish pie plate. Fold and crimp the edges. Line the crust with parchment paper and fill with uncooked beans or rice. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven. Remove the beans or rice and paper, and set aside.
2. Sprinkle the crust with the shrimp, cheese, asparagus, and crabmeat.
3. In a bowl, whisk the half-and-half, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dill together; pour over the filling. Bake for 40 minutes, or until quiche is set. Serve warm or at room temperature.
