Large Batch of Homemade Sloppy Joe / Manwich Sauce for Freezer Meals - Absolutely Delicious!!
Oh my gosh, this Homemade Sloppy Joe or Manwich Sauce was so good that I couldn't stop eating it. It was way better than any can sauce you can use and I made a large batch of it for Freezer Meals. I used my Instant Pot Gem to cook this in and I love that appliance. It is just as good as my Instant Pot Pressure Cooker.
Music from Bensound!

Freezer Meals for Small Families with ground beef/ Sloppy Joes, Wally Stew, stuffed peppers
Today we are making 4 different meals from 3 lbs of ground beef. I make some burger patties, homemade Sloppy Joes, a childhood favorite that we call Wally Stew (tator tot casserole), and stuffed peppers.
I want to thank Samantha at smallfamilysmallbudget, Cynthia at Our Biggs Adventure, Leroy at 40 and Broke, and Heidi at The Vegan Home Economist for joining me this week in the Freezer Meals for Small Families Collaboration. We are all small and new channels that support each other as we are growing. Check out the full playlist here:
I also want to thank all of my viewers for being patient with my upload schedule this week. Again yesterday I was physically wiped out and spent most of the day, (except while at work) in bed. I feel great this morning so hopefully I am past the yucky!

Move over Manwich- Homemade Sloppy Joes- freezer meal
These sloppy joes are so delicious! You can double, triple, quadruple the recipe and have some for freezer meals. Place sloppy joes in a freezer bag. Squeeze out as much air as possible. Flash freeze on a cookie sheet flat. Once frozen remove cookie sheet and stack in freezer. I triple the sauce recipe because I like it to be saucy. If you have picky eaters, processing the onions and peppers in a food processor will make them hardly noticeable. Happy cooking friends!

This top-rated recipe for homemade sloppy joes will instantly take you back to your childhood. The classic ground beef recipe comes together in one pan with bell pepper, onion, and a salty-sweet “sloppy” sauce that’s way better than the canned stuff. It’s a cheap way to feed a crowd (or your family), and it’s versatile enough for lunch or dinner. The best part? If you load extra meat into the bun, you can enjoy the bits that fall out of your sandwich as a dip with salty potato chips – it’s almost like a sweet-and-salty nacho. This nostalgic sandwich is a comforting classic that’s famously easy to make and more delicious than it usually gets credit for.

Easy Freezer Meals! Goulash, Meatloaf, Sloppy Joes
With the warmer weather and summer gardening, I enjoy pulling out a freezer meal instead of cooking on hot days! Here are 3 great, easy freezer recipes.
Meatloaf Recipe:
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 onion diced small (about 1/2 cup)
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
3/4 cup quick oats
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt
1/2 cup tomato sauce
Glaze topping:
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. mustard
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray.
Mix together ground beef, onion, eggs, pepper, oats, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, onion salt and tomato sauce in a large bowl, using your hands. Do not overmix.
In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, sugar and mustard. Spread on top of meatloaf and place in oven. Bake for 1 hour and 15-30 minutes, or until meatloaf is cooked through. Let cool for a few minutes and then slice and serve.
