MEXICAN FRENCH TOAST ON THE BLACKSTONE GRIDDLE
Who doesn’t love French toast? In collaboration with Ellen’s Homemade Delights, today’s breakfast is going south of the border and across international waters with two tasty versions of this delicious traditional classic., My Mexican French toast recipe is easy to prepare and even simpler to cook up. Flour tortillas dipped a in flavorful batter seasoned with cinnamon and vanilla then toasted until golden brown on the hot Blackstone griddle. Shopping List:
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 (10-inch) flour tortillas
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, divided
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until well blended.
Cut each tortilla into quarters then place in egg mixture. Gently stir to completely coat tortillas. Allow to soak 10 minutes, or until softened.
Heat the Blackstone to medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add 4 tortilla quarters and cook 4 to 5 minutes, or until golden, turning halfway through cooking. Drain on a paper towel-lined platter. Repeat with remaining butter and tortillas. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and serve immediately.

Today I'm taking the all-time favorite breakfast French toast and adding a twist. Easy French toast recipe on the Blackstone griddle with tortillas instead of toast. Custard soaked and griddle-toasted flour tortillas with powdered sugar, maple syrup, fruit with a dollop of whipped cream. Quick and easy breakfast!

0:09 Combine eggs, water, sugar alternative, and cinnamon in a bowl. Whisk until the sugar alternative has dissolved and all are evenly incorporated. Set aside.
0:34 Melt butter on a skillet set at slightly higher than medium heat.

Ingredients:
-Aloo (Potatoes) boiled 2 medium
-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tsp
-Chicken powder ½ tsp
-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Chaat masala ½ tsp
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
-Anda (Egg) 1
-Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup
-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) to taste
-Namak (Salt) to taste
-Dried oregano ¼ tsp
-Bread slices as required
-Cheddar cheese grated as required
-Cooking oil 1-2 tbs
Directions:
-In a bowl,add potatoes & mash well with the help of masher.
-Add red chilli crushed,chicken powder,cumin powder,salt,chaat masala,fresh coriander,mix well & set aside.
-In a bowl,add egg,milk,black pepper powder,salt,dried oregano,whisk well & set aside.
-Trim edges of bread slices.
-On one bread slice,add & spread prepared potato filling.
-Add cheddar cheese & flip the other bread slice over it.
-Now dip prepared potato sandwich in egg mixture to evenly coat all sides.
-In a frying pan,add cooking oil,place prepared sandwich & fry on medium low flame from both sides until golden brown (makes 2).
-Cut inti slices & serve!

-Bread slices ka edges ko trim ker lein.
-Ek bread slice per tayyar aloo filling dal ker pheela lein.
-Cheddar cheese dal dein aur dosray bread slices ko flip ker lein.
-Ab tayyar potato sandwich ko anday ka mixture mein ache tarhan coat ker lein.
-Frying pan mein cooking oil dal dein aur tayyar sandwich ko darmiyani halki ancch per doo sides sa golden-brown ho janay tak fry ker lein (makes 2).
-Slices mein cut ker ka serve karein!
