Spicy Ginger Garlic Tofu Stir fry | How to make Tofu recipe | Easy Vegan Tofu recipe
Tofu, also called bean curd, is a food made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. It is a component in many East Asian and Southeast Asian cuisines.
Mapo tofu is a popular Chinese dish from Sichuan province. It consists of tofu set in a spicy sauce, typically a thin, oily, and bright red suspension, based on douban (fermented broad bean and chili paste) and douchi (fermented black beans). Variations exist with other ingredients such as water chestnuts, onions, other vegetables, or wood ear fungus.

Delicious Tofu Salad With Chili Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
Dressing
1 cup coriander
1 inch ginger
3 cloves garlic
1 green chili
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp sriracha
¼ tsp brown sugar
Salad
400 gm extra firm tofu
3 cups lettuce
½ cup red onion
1 large tomato
1 cucumber
Instructions:
1. Prepare the dressing by blending fresh coriander with ginger, garlic cloves, green chili, olive oil, dark soy sauce, sriracha, and brown sugar then set aside
2. Remove any excess water from the extra firm tofu
3. Cut tofu into bite-size cubes and coat it with the dressing
4. Marinate the tofu for 30 minutes
5. Coat the marinated tofu in cornstarch
6. Fry the tofu until golden brown and crispy
7. Use a large clear salad bowl to mix lettuce, thinly sliced red onions, heirloom tomato pieces, and thinly sliced cucumber
8. Pour over the homemade salad dressing
9. Toss in the fried tofu
10. Finish off with salt and pepper to taste
11. Ready to enjoy!
