32 oz Canned cut green beans
10 1/2 oz Can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz Can French fried onion rings
1. In a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole, combine
cut green beans and soup. Blend well. 2. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 5 to 7 minutes.
3. Sprinkle top of bean mixture with onion rings and heat, un- covered, in
Microwave Oven an additional 3 minutes or until onions are heated through.

Spicy Green Beans - Recipe Rack
Spice so nice, you'll want it twice!
Spicy Green Beans Pin:
Ingredients:
8 ounces green beans
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium red bell pepper
1/2 medium onion
Directions:
In a skillet, sauté bell peppers and onions in olive oil for 7 minutes.
Add green beans and spices, combine all ingredients.
Continue to stir until green beans are cooked, about 10 minutes.

How to Make CANNED Green Beans Taste DELICIOUS!

This is great for weeknights when there is no time to to slow simmer fresh/frozen green beans. I made this southern style, though I have also made them using butter instead of bacon grease.
They do cook way down as shown in the video, so If you usually make two cans of green beans, I would make four. They cook way down compared to the volume that you start with.
The recipe below is for what I made in the video (you make make more or less depending on what your family's needs are):
◙ 4-5 14.5 oz canned green beans, whole, cut (whatever is your favorite style)
◙ sautéed onions (I generally add about 1/2 on an onion, minced per 4-5 cans)
◙ bacon grease (about 1 TABLEspoon PER 4-5 cans)
◙ 2 cups chicken broth, I used my soup base (I do NOT recommend bouillon as it would be too salty for this recipe)
◙ a SALT FREE general seasoning
NOTE: I used my House seasoning, link below or 1/2-3/4, tsp (to taste) of a Cajun seasoning
◙ a good pinch of sugar (optional)
◙ crumbled cooked bacon (I always add this, I was out this time)
s & p to taste (this recipe you will find, does not need extra salt)
Occasionally I will make these with butter instead of bacon grease, when I do that, I also add previously boiled red potatoes cut into bite sized pieces.
Add all in a pot that has a lid. Bring to a boil. Remove the lid. Keep on high heat and allow the broth to reduce down. I STRONGLY suggest that you stay with the pot and give a good stir several times during the boiling . As the broth is cooking away keep stirring. This is NOT recipe to walk away from. The last few minutes are important. Keep it moving, when the broth has almost completely evaporated as shown, they are done. Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy!

Ever since it was created in the 1950s, this classic side makes frequent appearances at holiday tables in the colder months. However, it's main feature is something I was never too keen on: condensed cream of mushroom soup. So we're going to make this better than ever by replacing that jiggly substance with the magic of Mushroom Better Than Bouillon!
