1 lb Green beans; fresh, trimmed -and french cut 1 c Water 1/2 lb Mushrooms; fresh, sliced 3 tb Butter 1/2 c Ham; chopped ds Nutmeg 1/4 c Parmesan; grated 1/2 ts Salt 2 tb Butter 1 c Heavy cream 1 Egg 1 Lemon; juice of Salt; to taste Pepper; to taste Cook green beans in salted water using the 1/2 teaspoon salt in covered pot until crisp tender. Drain. In skillet, suate sliced mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter. Add mushrooms to green beans using slotted spoon. Add 3 tablespoons butter and cream to beans and cook, uncovere, on low heat until absorbed. In a small bowl, beat egg, nutmeg, lemon juice and grated parmesan cheese. Stir ham into green beans and mushrooms and heat through. Directions MIX soup, milk and pepper in a 1 1/2 -qt. baking dish. Stir in beans and 2/3 cup Crispy Fried Onions. BAKE at 350°F for 30 min. or until hot. Stir. TOP with remaining 2/3 cup onions. Bake 5 min. until onions are golden. **For a twist, try the Festive Green Bean Casserole.

Preheat oven to 350 In an ungreased 9 x 13 casserole add 5 cans of cut green beans that have been drain and washed. Cook 1 lb. of bacon until almost done...drain the bacon and sprinkle on top of the beans in a uniform fashion In a separate bowl mix 4 tblsp. of melted butter, 4 tblsp. of reduced sodium soy sauce, 1-1/2 tsp of garlic powder and 2/3 of a cup of packed brown sugar (I used light brown) Pour this over the bacon and green beans and bake, uncovered in the center of your oven for 40 minutes. Enjoy!!!
