How To make Green Beans and Squash
1 lb Green beans,trimmed
1 Butternut squash
4 tb Butter,unsalted
1 Garlic clove,chopped
1/4 c Currant jelly
1/4 c Basil leaves,chopped
1/4 c Parsley leaves,chopped
3/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Black pepper
1 tb Lemon juice
1/2 c Walnuts,toasted,chopped
1. Peel and seed Butternut squash, and cut into 2x1/2x1/2" sticks. Cook
green beans in 2" boiling water in large skillet or Dutch oven for 6 minutes. Add squash; cook 6-8 minutes or just until tender when pierced with fork. Drain; rinse with cold running water. (Can be done up to 1 day ahead and refrigerated. 2. Heat buuter in same pan over medium heat. Add galic; saute 2
minutes.Stir in jelly, basil, parsley, salt and pepper, stirring until jelly is melted. 3. Add beans and squash; heat through. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon
juice. Spoon onto serving platter. Sprinkle with walnuts. Serve hot or warm.

Roasted butternut squash with its creamy texture compliments the flavors of slightly crisp green beans with rosemary and walnuts in this simple yet delicious vegetarian dish.
Ingredients:
1 lb. butternut squash cut into 1 inch cubes.
2 fresh rosemary stems
1 lb. green beans (washed and kept whole
salt and freshly ground pepper
6 oz. walnuts
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Čorbica od crnog pasulja i tikve
Recept:
Sastojci
2 kašike maslinovog ulja
1 crni luk srednje veličine, isjeckan
4-5 čena belog luka, sitno sjeckanog
1/2 kašičice mljevenog korijandera
2 kašičice dimljene paprike
2 konzerve crnog pasulja, isprane i ocjeđene - 585 g ocjeđene mase
1 mala ( 540 g) muskatna tikva oljuštena i isjeckana na kockice
3 sušena lista lovora
1 kašičica soli
3-4 šolje vode ili povrtnog bujona/posnu kocku za supu
2-3 šake spanaća
1/2 limete, sok
Peršun za posipanje
Postupak:
1. U velikom loncu na umjerenoj vatri izdinstajte luk na ulju dok ne omekša, oko 5 minuta. Dodajte bijeli luk, papriku i korijander i kuvajte još minut.
2. Dodajte pasulj, tikvu, vodu (ili bujon), lovorov list i so, pa pojačajte vatru. Pustite da proključa, poklopite i ostavite da se krčka na srednjoj temperaturi. Kuvajte oko 10-15 minuta dok tikva ne omekša.
3. Dodajte spanać i kuvajte još minut.
4. Sklonite sa vatre, dodajte sok od limete,peršun, so i biber po ukusu.
Poslužite preko integralnog pirinča ili kinoe.
