How To make Grilled Jumbo Shrimp with Citrus Sauce

MARINADE:
1/2 c Vegetable oil
Grated zest of 1 orange Grated zest of 1 lime 1 tb Fresh basil; minced OR
1/2 tb Dried basil
1 ts Fresh thyme; minced OR
1/2 ts Dried
1 lb Extra-large shrimp; about 18
-shells removed; cleaned
VEGETABLE SAUTE:
1 tb Vegetable oil
3 c Vegetable; (use artichokes,
-fennel, red bell pepper, -and zucchini) cut into -1/2-inch-wide sticks about -2 inches long 1 Clove garlic; minced
Salt and ground black pepper 3 tb Balsamic vinegar
CItrUS SAUCE:
1 tb Orange juice
1 tb Grapefruit juice
1 tb Lime juice
2 tb Honey
1 tb Dijon-style mustard
For the marinade, combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the shrimp and marinate for about 3 hours. (Note the recipe states to marinate at room temperature, but I would not leave it out for that amount of time. The safest thing to do is to marinate in the refrigerator.) When the marinating time is over, make the vegetable saute. In a saute pan over medium heat, warm the oil. Add the vegetables and garlic; saute for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper. Add the balsamic vinegar and continue cooking for 1 minute more. To make the citrus vinaigrette, combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Whisk to dissolve the honey. Remove the shrimp from the marinade and grill or broil for 2 minutes on each side. Divide the sauteed vegetables among 6 salad plates, put 3 shrimp on top of each, and pour on the citrus vinaigrette. Source: Burt Wolf's Table Cookbook. Shared and MM by Judi M. THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
¼ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon honey, or you can use brown sugar
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (try an extra pinch or two of ghost pepper powder for some great spiciness!)
1 teaspoon lime zest
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or more as desired - optional, for spicier marinade
Salt and black pepper to taste - 1/4 teaspoon each is usually good
Hot Sauce to taste - optional, but hey! I NEED hot sauce! Spicy shrimp for me, please. =)
1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined

Ingredients:-
1 tbsp. Oil
¼ cup Salted butter
25 medium sized raw Prawns, peeled with tail on
⅛ cup Garlic cloves, crushed
⅛ cup Green garlic, chopped
Salt, as required
Freshly ground black pepper, as required
Chilli flakes, as required
⅛ cup parsley, chopped
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
½ tsp. Corn starch
2-3 tbsp. Water
Method:-
- Heat oil in a pan and add prawns to it.
- Toss this well and add salt. Keep the flame on high.
- Add garlic, butter, parsley and toss again.
- Add water, chilli flakes, black pepper, corn flour slurry, lemon juice and mix well.
Delicious Butter Garlic Prawns are ready to eat.

2 Tablespoons (30 ml) Grapeseed oil (or other high-flash point oil)
1/2 cup (1 stick or 115g) unsalted Butter
6 cloves Garlic , crushed
1 chopped or crushed thai chili , optional for spicy version
2 teaspoons (5 ml) Fish Sauce , or soy sauce
1 teaspoons (5 ml) citrus zest of 1 medium lemon , or 1 lime
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt , or to taste
1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper , or to taste
1 Tablespoons chopped green onion
lemon or lime wedges , for serving
