Best Shrimp Recipe: Drunken Shrimp ft. Beer | Sunday Savory
This is a recipe that I make whenever we have a bbq or get together because who doesn't love shrimp OR beer? It's a super simple and pretty delicious spin on the classic sautéed shrimp dish that you'll want to add to your arsenal.
These measurements are approximations, really just adjust to your personal liking.
Medium Saucepan (a bit larger than the one i used in the video to make more shrimp faster!)
Large peeled deveined shrimp
1 tablespoon of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 clove of garlic minced
Lime juice
old bay seasoning
Beer of your choice (I usually use something like Corona, Dos XX, Bud Light Lime, etc)
In the saucepan combine the butter, olive oil, garlic and beer over medium to high heat. Get it going then add the shrimp. Sprinkle your seasoning now. Once it cooks down, flip it then season the other side. Once the shrimp has some nice color, remove and add the lime juice on top. Try not to overcook the shrimp. To make more, just keep adding butter and beer as you see fit. I promise the latter batches will only taste better as those flavors are concentrated more each time.
If you make this dish, please take a picture and tag me in it on IG or Twitter @dvznmedia. I'd love to hear what you think.
