Tsouskes Oil for frying peppers 1 lb Feta cheese
3 tb Oil
Tsouskes are hot spicy peppers. Of course the best is green long peppers which grow only in Macedonia are extremely hot and very tasty. You fry them in oil, you peel their skin and you chop them into very small pieces. How many it depends on how hot they are and how spicy you can eat. After, you cut about 1 pound of feta in to small pieces and you mix it with the peppers. Add about 3 table spoons of olive oil. Work all the ingredients with the fork until it becomes a paste. Be carefull: I said with fork. Not with food processor, not with goudhi. Just FORK. :) You are all set. Enjoy with bread or crackers as appetizer. From: Antonios Bouris

Here's a super easy vid on how to make tirokafteri at home. Tirokafteri is that Greek spicy feta cheese spread that you find on most Greek restaurant menus around the world. With only 4 simple ingredients, you too can add authentic Greek spice to your life. Using a food processor will also make your like a lot easier in this recipe. If you're not sure on exactly how much spice you can handle, simply add your heat in a little at a time.
INGREDIENTS LIST
* 300g Greek feta cheese
* 1/4 cup Greek extra virgin olive oil
* 2 heaping tbsp. Greek strained yogurt
* 1 cayenne pepper (or to taste)
* Salt & pepper to taste

• ingredients:
- 4-5 jalapeños peppers or 2-3 spicy Italian peppers or any spicy pepper of your choice
- 8-10oz feta cheese
- 2-3 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream or ricotta
- 1/3 of a cup olive oil ( I measured with my heart)
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 whole red roasted pepper
• instructions:
- cut and clean the flakes from the peppers
- into a preheated pan add olive and let preheat
- fry the peppers until are lightly browned
- transfer into a food processor
- add the feta, the yogurt, the flakes, olive oil
- and blend very well until you have a very smooth spread
- serve and garnish with olive oil and crushed peppers and enjoy with lots of pita bread and grilled bread
