How To make Impossible Hamburg Pie
1 c Bisquick 1/4 c Green pepper; chopped
1/3 c Cold water 1 Egg
1 lb Ground beef 1/4 c Milk
1/2 ts Salt 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Oregano 1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Pepper 8 oz Cheddar cheese; shredded
1/2 c Bread crumbs 8 oz Tomato sauce
1/4 c Onion, chopped
DIRECTIONS Combine baking mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously. Smo- oth dough into ball on floured board. Knead 5 times. Roll dough 2 in. larger than 9 in pie plate. Place into plate flute edges. Brown ground beef + drain. Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, onion, bread crumbs, tomato sauce and spread in pie crust. Beat egg and milk, stir in remaining ingred. Mom's Hamburger Pie
1 1/4 lb ground beef
1/2 diced onion
1 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 beaten egg
8 inch pie crust (prebake on 350 degrees for 7 minutes)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Brown up ground beef with diced onion, drain fat. Cool slightly, add all the other ingredients. Mix. Pour into pie crust and top with shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

This wonderful meal-in-one dish is a great way to make the most of ground beef. Each bite give meat, vegetables and potato - and old fashioned recipe that's still wonderful today. A great alternative to a meatloaf, add a salad and dinner rolls and you've got a wonderful meal!
Cheeseburger Pie
1 pound cooked, crumbled ground beef
1 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp minced onion
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups shredded cheese
Preheat oven t 400 and spray or grease a pie dish or an 8x8 square pan. Cook ground beef, onion, garlic& salt & pepper, until ground beef is done. Place ground beef into the pan. Mix together Bisquick, eggs & milk and pour over ground beef. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 400 forb25-30 minutes. Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
