IRISH COFFEE WITH BAILEYS
Who doesn't love a good pick me up? This Irish Coffee with Baileys is exactly that and everything you love about a classic Irish Coffee...but better. Because Baileys. And I think we can all agree that Baileys makes everything better...amirite?
I had a thing for Jameson Irish Whiskey back in my bartending days so even though me and coffee don't quite get along, Jameson, too, always makes everything better. For me anyway. For the night anyway (the morning is a whole different story). For this simple Irish Coffee with Baileys, you only need 3 other ingredients besides the obvious Irish Whiskey + Baileys - two of which are optional. Coffee - a must in this Irish Coffee with Baileys. And Maple syrup - for added sweetness, which is optional. And/or Whipped cream - for added creaminess. Also optional.
This coffee is good any way you do it and no matter the time of day. I think I'm going to go whip one up right now! #irishcoffee #coffeedrinks #recipevideo

Printable recipe: #irishcoffee #coffeecocktail
Ingredients 30 ml Smooth Irish whiskey 2 tsp sugar syrup 150 ml freshly brewed black coffee. 50 ml Cold heavy cream
Instructions Warm the mug: start by using a heatproof glass or mug, fill the mug with hot water then set it aside while you brew the coffee. Let it sit for about two minutes so that the mug is thoroughly warmed through. Discard the water. Pour the brewed hot coffee into the mug, fill it about ¾ way. Add brown sugar, sugar cubes or sugar syrup then mix to combine. If using granulated sugar, stir until the sugar fully dissolves. Add the Irish whiskey and stir to combine. Lightly whip the cold heavy cream. Note that the cream should be soft peak but still be pourable. Top the Irish coffee by pouring the whipped cream over the back of a spoon, that way, the cream floats and doesn’t break into the coffee. Don’t stir the coffee, drink through the cream. Enjoy!!!
