Homemade Blackberry Jalapeno Pepper Jelly Recipe
Today we made a delicious Blackberry Jalapeno Pepper jelly.
The recipe for the jelly can be swapped for any variety of berries and peppers. Simply exchange the berries for whichever one is your favorite. Some which come to mind are strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. I did not show it in the video but once you place the jelly in the jar put it in the refrigerator to cool and firm up.
The recipe called for:
1 cup of berries (black)
1 cup honey (I love using locally sourced honey)
1 Cup minced jalapenos
1/2 cup green pepper
1/2 apple cider vinegar

Jalapeno jelly is so much fun! It's one of my favorites. Try some with cream cheese on a cracker or bagel. It's also good used as you would use mint jelly. It makes a great accompanyment with pork too! Try it, I know you'll like it.

Jalapeno Jelly - How to Make It - Recipe
Subscribe for new videos everyday. The complete recipe for how to make jalapeno jelly with instructions and measurements is on my website:
I came upon my first mention of jalapeno jelly in a recipe for something else - it was just sort tossed in as a passing thought. The rest if the recipe was mildly interesting, but I thought to myself, I need to learn how to make jalapeno jelly. The spicy and the sweet are such a nice contrast that it would be great on corn biscuits or buttermilk biscuits. And that turns out to be true - but it is really good on lots of things.
