-Green Food coloring 1/3 c Jalapeno; chopped/seeded 3/4 c Bell pepper; -chopped/seeded 1 1/2 c Cider vinegar 5 1/2 c Sugar 1 Bottle Certo (6 oz) Cook peppers, vinegar and sugar 10 minutes. Add liquid pectin, boil 1 minute longer. Add green food coloring. Set 15 minutes before putting in jars. Makes 6 (1/2 pint) jars. (Peppers may be strained out if you wish)

Our jalapeno plants have produced a ton of jalapenos this year, and one of our favorite recipes to create is Jalapeno Jelly. This is a supper easy recipe that everyone must try. It's not spicy, it's sweet with a hint of heat. Perfect for pork, chicken, or mix it with a little cream cheese and make a delicious dip for crackers and vegetables.
Prepare canning jars.
In a food processor, shred the following 10 large jalapenos 2 large red peppers.
Once shredded place in very large stock pot with the following 1.5 cups apple cider vinegar 6 cups sugar 1 tsp salt
Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. The mixture will bubble a lot, so please make sure and use a very large pot.
After 10 minutes, add 1.5 packets of liquid pectin to the mixture and boil for 1 minutes. You must use liquid, the powdered pectin will not work.
let cool for a few minutes, then place in jars. Unopened jars will last 1 year, opened jars will last 2 weeks in the refrigerator. enjoy
