How To make Lentil/Macaroni Bake
28 ounces tomatoes, canned
undrained, diced
1/2 cup onion :
chopped
2 cloves garlic finely minced
15 ounces tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup lentils
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
4 ounces mushrooms :
sliced
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup macaroni
1/2 cup green peppers chopped
1 cup water
1/2 cup celery :
chopped
Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven, except for macaroni and 1 c. water. Bake, covered at 325 F. for 2 hours. Add macaroni and 1 c. water.
Stir together and bake another 30-45 minutes.

Ingredients:
Roughly 1 cup dried lentils ( soak for a few hours)
1/2 onion
2 handfuls grape tomatoes
5 cloves garlic
2 stalks scallion
1/2 bell pepper
Roughly two cups tomato sauce
Roughly 2 tbsp tomato paste
Dried thyme
onion powder
garlic powder
Few dash ground cumin( very strong don’t add too much)
Spice Jamaica garlic herbs seasoning ( use all a dried herb blend or purpose seasoning of your choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
About a tsp maple syrup or sugar
Garnish with dried parsley
Pasta of your choice
Water

Handmade Vegan Lentil Pasta, Gluten Free Vegan Pasta
Here is an easy and quick Handmade Vegan Lentil Pasta recipe for all Pasta lovers out there, who want to incorporate more fibre and more protein in their everyday diet.
The recipe is very simple as it requires just 4 basic pantry ingredients. The 5th ingredient is water. The key ingredient for this pasta is Red Lentil Flour. Red Lentil or Masoor Dal is widely consumed in every part of India. If you have a high speed blender at home, then you can make Lentil flour in a jiffy at home. Else, you can use store bought ready made flour. The other ingredients are rice flour (you can also use tapioca flour), salt and oil.
This recipe will make 6 servings. Each serving has 186 kcal with 33.15 grams of carb and 10.15 grams of protein.

1¼ cup Red Lentil , known as Masoor Dal in Hindi
6 tbsp Rice Flour or Tapioca Flour
½ cup Water if you have leftover water after making Paneer, you can use it. Else, use plain water.
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Olive Oil

Delicious and Healthy Pasta Bake using store cupboard staples, and so easy- only 6 ingredients! Press 'Show more' for full recipe. Apologies for side-view at the end, technical difficulties! Wont happen again Chef!
Ham and Lentil Pasta Bake (Serves 4)
Total cost= £5.60 Cost per serving= £1.40
400g Penne (or whatever shapes you have!) £1 (can get cheaper pasta from budget range)
350g Cooked Gammon or Ham, Diced £1.25
300g Frozen Peas 20p
1 x Tin Lentil and Vegetable Soup £1.15
725g jar Bolognese Pasta Sauce 90p
200g Mature Cheddar, Grated (could probably get away with using less, lol!) £1.09
Salt and pepper to taste 1p
1) Preheat oven to 180C. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, and cook the pasta according to packet instructions (depending on shape, can vary from 11 minutes to 14 minutes).
2) Drain pasta in a colander, return to the pan, and stir in the ham, frozen peas, soup and pasta sauce. Season to taste. Pour into a large baking dish.
3) Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove, and serve!
*Serves 4 generously, but if you wanted to stretch it to serving 6, you could have salad and garlic bread on the side.
