Easiest Ever Salt Dough Recipe (3 Ingredients!) | Salt Dough Christmas Ornaments
Get this easy salt dough recipe (only 3 ingredients!) and learn how to make these adorable salt dough Christmas ornaments with glitter, stamps, felt and more! This is the perfect Christmas craft for the whole family. My salt dough ornament recipe is super simple!
I used Dollar Tree cookie cutters for this tutorial, but you can use any shapes you have on hand or even create 3D shapes as I did for my Halloween pumpkin stems.

Recipe:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup salt
3/4 cup warm water
Mix all ingredients well and roll out dough to cut shapes.
You can bake these ornaments in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours at 250˚F or let them air dry for a no-bake option. Air drying usually takes 4-7 days depending on the thickness of your ornament.

One of the best parts of Christmas is decorating the tree! Discover how to make salt dough ornaments to display on your tree! This salt dough recipe is super easy and a lot of fun for kids!
Welcome to Moose Mischief, where we learn about our amazing world while creating art, making DIY crafts and conducting science experiments!!! Moose Mischief features fun videos with nature and Alaskan themes. The videos are inspired by my cartoon characters, Cooper and the moose, who live in Alaska. For this easy DIY for kids, I will show them how to make ornaments out of salt dough in the shapes of a Christmas tree, snowflake, snowmen and snowflake. I will take them step-by-step through the salt dough recipe. It’s super simple and a fun activity for kids!
This art and craft is ideal for children ages 5 and older with adult supervision. It takes about 3 hours to complete.
For the salt dough recipe, you will need measuring cups for dry ingredients, a glass measuring cup, cookie cutters, a rolling pin, skewers, a tablespoon, vegetable oil, flour, salt, wax paper, a bowl, a baking sheet and a cutting board.
To decorate the ornaments, you will need paintbrushes, paint, fabric, glitter, stickers and a paper plate. To hang them on the Christmas tree, you will want to use string and paper clips.
