How To make MACARONI & CHEESE MOM'S
Ingredients

pk
elbow macaroni, (8 oz)
2
tablespoon
butter, or margarine
3/4
cup
onion, chopped
1/2
cup
green bell pepper, chopped
12
oz
cheddar cheese spread
1
cup
cheddar cheese, shredded
4
teaspoon
hot red pepper sauce, (opt)
Directions:
Prepare the macaroni in a large saucepan according to the directions on the
package. Drain and return to the saucepan to keep warm.
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter add the onion and
chopped green bell pepper and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally,
until crisp tender. Remove from the heat; add vegetables to the macaroni in
the saucepan along with the cheese spread, shredded cheese and hot red
pepper sauce, if desired. Toss until well mixed.
Spoon the mixture into a 2 1/2-quart casserole and bake 30 minutes or until
hot and bubbly. Garnish with pepper rings and parsley sprigs if desired.

MY MOM'S MAC AND CHEESE RECIPE
Today's video shows how I tried to make macaroni and cheese using my mom's recipe.

Ingredients
Macaroni noodles
Milk
Vegetable oil
Kosher salt
Black Pepper
Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Eggs (1)
Cook noodles according to the directions on the box.
Cheese Sauce
Add about 1tablespoon of oil in a pot.
Add one egg, about 2 cups of milk, salt and pepper. Stir in cheese and heat the sauce allowing the cheese to melt.
Drain noodles and layer or stir in more cheese to a greased dish. Add a layer of cheese over the top of noodles and cook in the oven until the cheese melts and begins to brown.

INGREDIENTS
• 12 oz pasta (I like shells or elbow)
• 1/4 cup milk (plus more if your sauce is too thick)
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 4 oz block cream cheese
• 2 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
• 1 cup chopped cauliflower
• 1 cup frozen butternut squash
• 1 tsp salt
DIRECTIONS
1. Steam veggies for 5-7 minutes until tender. In blender, puree 3/4 cup water and steam veggies until smooth.
2. On stove, combine pureed veggies, milk, cheddar cheese and cream cheese and simmer until smooth. Whisk if chunky.
3. Cook pasta and then pour sauce over. Use extra milk to thin if necessary or if reheating to smooth sauce.
