40 pounds Ground beef
16 Eggs -- lightly beaten
8 cups Old-fashioned oats
5 cups Tomato juice
3 large Onions -- chopped
1/3 cup Salt
2 tablespoons Pepper
Sauce: 3 cups Water
1 1/2 cups Ketchup
6 tablespoons Vinegar
2 tablespoons Prepared mustard
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
"A friend of mine gave me this recipe, which was a favorite at 4-H camp." - Joanne Shew Combine beef, eggs, oats, tomato juice, onions, salt and pepper. Form into 16 loaves. Place in 9x5x3" loaf pans. Combine sauce ingredients; pour 3 Tbsp. over each loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until no pink remains, basting once with remaining sauce.

INGREDIENTS:
• ½ tablespoon (30 mililitres) extra-virgin olive oil
• ½ yellow onion, small diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon (5 grams) fresh thyme leaves
• 4 teaspoons (20 grams) kosher salt
• 2 teaspoons (10 grams) ground black pepper
• 3 tablespoons (45 grams) tomato paste
• 4 tablespoons (60 mililitres) Worcestershire sauce
• ¼ cup (60 mililitres) chicken broth
• 1½ pounds (680 grams) ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
• 1 cup (120 grams) unseasoned breadcrumbs
• 2 large eggs, whisked
• ⅓ cup (75 grams) ketchup
• 2 tablespoons (30 grams) parsley, chopped, for garnish

OLD SCHOOL MEATLOAF!!
This recipe for my MEATLOAF will be the most moist flavorful one you ever tasted
It's because I soak my bread in the milk and then mix it in gently
Recipe
2# ground beef
1/2 cup diced onions(cooked)
1/2 cup diced celery (cooked)
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoons salt and pepper
2 whole eggs
1/4 cup whole milk
1 cup diced bread(soaked in milk)
GLAZE recipe
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Mixed together in bowl
Soak bread in the milk
Add to all other ingredients and gently mix together
Shape in loaf on greased baking sheet(or loaf pan) and cook for 20 minutes on 350 degrees
Take out and pour glaze on top and cook an additional 20 minutes or until fully cooked
ENJOY with mashed potatoes or cold on a sandwich
