8 oz Sauce, tomato
6 oz Paste, tomato
3/4 c Wine, white, dry
1/2 c Olives, black, sliced
1 ts Salt
1 ts Oregano
1 ts Basil
1/4 ts Pepper
6 oz Artichoke hearts,

marinated, drained 2 tb Cheese, parmesan, grated
Pasta, cooked Basil, fresh Olives, black, whole In a large bowl, make the sauce by mixing together mushrooms, onion, garlic, oil, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Add wine, olives, salt, oregano, basil, and pepper. Mix well, and set aside. Place the chicken in a single layer, skin-side down, in a large baking dish. Spoon the sauce over the chicken; cover with foil and bake in 350 F oven for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken; spoon sauce over chicken and bake, uncovered, about 30 minutes more, or until chicken is fork tender. Remove the chicken from the oven; arrange the artichoke hearts around the chicken. Sprinkle cheese over all. Cover loosely with foil and allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving. When ready to serve, use warm serving plates and mound your pasta onto the plates first. Place the chicken onto the pasta, and pour some of the pan juices over the chicken and pasta. Garnish with basil and black olives. Cook: John A. Manakish/Manaech/Manaqich recipe
For the dough:
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1-1/4 cups (300m) of lukewarm water
- 1 cup (150g) of all purpose flour
- 2-1/2 cups (360g) of strong bread flour
- 2 tsp table salt
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- Some olive oil to brush the dough and some flour to use to roll out the dough.
For the garnish:
- 1/4 cup of zaatar mix mixed with 1/4 cup of olive oil and vegetable oil.(in the video i used more for another recipe)
For the chicken Manakish:
- 1 piece of chicken breast
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp white pepper and salt to taste
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- Half an onion cut into pieces
- 1 tsp tomato paste
Pour la pâte:
- 1c.à c de levure boulangère
- 1c. à s de sucre
- 1-1/4 de tasses (300ml) d'eau tiède
- 1 tasse (150g) de farine tout usage
- 2-1/2 tasses (360g) de farine à pain blanc
- 2 c. à c de sel de table
- 1 c. à s d'huile végétale
- Un peu d'huile d'olive pour badigeonner la pâte et de la farine pour saupoudrer sous la pâte
Pour la garniture:
- 1/4 de tasse de zaatar mélangé avec 1/4 de tasse de mélange d'huile végétale et d'huile d'olive (dans la vidéo j'ai utilisé plus de zaatar pour une autre recette)
Pour Manakish au poulet:
- 1 morceau de poitrine de poulet
- 1 c.à s de jus de citron frais
- 3 c. à s d'huile d'olive
- 1/2 c. à c de cumin
- 1/4 c. à c de poivre blanc
- Du sel au goût
- 2 gousses d'ail écrasées
- 1/2 onion en morceaux
- 1 c. à c de pâte de tomates

Im Ofen 35 Minuten bei 180°C (350°F) backen.
