How To make Mild Curry Base
2 tb Ghee or Vegetable oil
1 ts Garlic Puree
1 tb Curry paste
-or mild curry powder 3/4 pt Curry gravy(recipe follows)
2 ts Tomato puree
1 ts Salt
Curry stock(recipe follows) -or water 1. Heat the gee, and stir-fry the garlic for 1 minute.
2. Add the curry paste (or powder made into a paste with water), and
stir-fry for 2 minutes more. 3. Add the curry gravy, using less if you want a dryish curry and more a
liquid sauce. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes then add tomato puree and salt. 4. To obtain the waterness you require, either add akhni stock or water to
taste. (You may need to add a little oil as well to keep the correct texture.) 5. Add your principle ingredients - 1 1/2 lb for 4 people and when hot
serve.

Real Chinese Takeaway Curry Sauce In Only 3 Minutes
You can make this authentic Chinese Takeaway Curry Sauce in less time than it takes to order. Especially if there's a big queue at your local takeaway. No complicated cooking or preparation - simply add the ingredients in a pan and stir to give you a curry sauce that's identical to the one you can buy.
Full Chinese Takeaway Curry Sauce Recipe:
50g butter
500ml stock
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp ginger
3 tsps Chinese five spice
3/4 tsp salt
1/3 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp MSG
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsps sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp white vinegar or similar
2 tbsps light soy sauce
2-3 cloves minced garlic
Corn starch slurry made from 50g corn starch and 100ml cold water
1 tbsp sesame oil to finish

Ingredients:
900g (2 pounds) chicken breast, cut into cubes
2 onions
3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon grated ginger
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoon curry powder
1.5 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 large tomatoes, chopped
1 can (400g/14oz) coconut cream/milk
½ teaspoon garam masala (optional)
Coriander, chopped – for garnish
Directions:
1. In a large pan heat oil. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden, over medium-low heat. stir occasionally.
2. When onions are golden add grated garlic and ginger. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft. Add curry powder and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, cook for 5 minutes, until golden. Cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes more. Add water, cover and cook 10 minutes.
3. Add coconut milk/cream, season with garam masala and salt, stir, and cook until lightly thickens.
