How To make Moose Meatballs
1 lb Ground moose meat*
1 Egg; lightly beaten
4 tb Cornstarch; divided
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 tb Onion; chopped
1 tb Cooking oil
3 tb Vinegar
1 8 oz can pineapple chunks
1/2 c Sugar
1 tb Soy sauce
1 md Green pepper; cut into strip
Hot cooked wide egg noodles If moose meat isn't available in your area, ground beef can be substituted. In a bowl, combine meat, egg, 1 tablepsoon cornstarch, salt, pepper and onion. Shape into 1-1/2-inch balls. In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil. Cover and cook over low heat until the meatballs are done, about 10 minutes. In a saucepan, stir vinegar and remaining cornstarch until smooth. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Set pineapple aside. Add enough water to juice to equal 1-1/2 cups; stir into vinegar mixture. Add sugar and soy sauce; cook and stir over medium heat until thickened. Add the meatballs, pineapple and green pepper; cook until heated through and the green pepper is tender. Serve over noodles.

Moose Meat Recipes - Moose Meatballs & Stuffed Onion Rings
Looking for ideas for cooking moose meat? These recipes work for any ground meat try them out and enjoy!
Moose Balls
2 lb ground meat
2 tsp sesame oil
1 c panko
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 eggs
3 tsp minced garlic
1/2 c chopped green onion.
Mix all ingredients and form 1-2 ounce balls. Bake at 350 for 20 min or until cooked through.
Dipping Sauce
2/3 c hoisin sauce
1/4 c rice vinegar
2 garlic cloves minced
2 tbls soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp ground ginger
Mix and dip and enjoy
Moose Rings
1 lb ground meat
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp soy
1 tsp Worcester
Mix , cook, cool
Then add
1/2 c BBQ sauce
1 c cheese.
Cut 1 inch ring slices then stuff with mixture.
Then dip in flour, egg, panko and fry in oil until golden brown.
Garlic Mayo
1 roasted bulb of garlic 400 for 30-40 min. Let cool and squeeze it into a cup of mayonnaise mix and enjoy.

Make sure you buy equal quantities of good pork and beef mince. It needs to have a little fat in there, go for around 15-20%.

Wild Game Stuffed Meatballs (w/ Moose)
Check out this little tasty snack! Do you have some ground wild game just sitting in the freezer? These meatballs are sure to be a hit at your next summer cook-out, duck camp gathering or any other occasion!
Recipe
- Mix 1 cup of wild game meat (we used moose)
- Add 1/2 C of breadcrumbs
- Add 1/2 C of chili sauce
- Add 1 Egg
- Add 1/4-1/2 of chopped onion
- Add 1 T of brown sugar
- Seasonings and other ingredients of your choice
-Mix Together
- Once mixed, form into balls with a piece of cheese in the middle
- Cook on smoker/grill/oven at 350 degrees for 20 min
- Apply BBQ glaze and let cook for 10min or until done
- Enjoy with a cold Buschy Treat
